Right in the heart of St. Germain and a lot of history in the hotel
A hotel with a lot of history. Numerous well-known figures of the time of the existentialism movement have lived here. A place of arts and encounter. Miles Davis, Tarantino, Jim Morrison, Sartre and many other personalities have lived here for a time.
The hotel is partially renovated. It's clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
If you are considering staying here, you need to know that the hotel is located right in the heart of St. Germain. It is correspondingly busy/loud. The windows of our suite were new and soundproofed.
In this hotel, the history, the spirit of the place and above all the location count.
We met some nice people here. People who had a story to tell.
Televisions are deliberately omitted from the rooms. We used the windows as a TV. Lots to see.
The location is really good. The Louvre Museum is a 15-minute walk away. The Seine is very close. Metro and bus close to the hotel.
The bars and restaurants near the hotel leave nothing to be desired.
Really practical: just opposite there is a supermarket.
Small boutiques, Asian cuisine, many antique shops and small galleries.
The famous Café de Flores close by. The oldest surviving church in Paris is also within walking distance.
The hotel is constantly renovating and renovating. We did not experience any construction noise in the house.
One house away, a building is currently being renovated. We start here during the week at around 7am. Thanks to the well insulated windows no problem for us.
