Great small family feeling atmosphere.

My daughter and I stayed there: we loved it. The host was nice and above a great restaurant for which he was the owner of both. The rooms are European size, which means they are small. Our bathroom was recently refurbished super nice (shower with rain shower and glass doors) The price was spot on. I loved the family feel of this small and quaint property. My daughter wants to go back. We will stay her again.

Bed bugs

Location was good and the room and bathroom appeared clean and quite modern. The shower was slightly difficult because it had to be hand held rather than in a stand. Noise level we found find but can understand on certain days it could be quite loud. The service seemed fine as we checked in and out quickly with no trouble. The issue we had was that when we had woken up the next morning we found multiple bed bugs crawling the sheets which felt disgusting. This really affected our enjoyment and makes me question the price to stay. Definitely not worth the money.

Run Down Building

Good Points: Free Wifi, Many restaurants around the area & near the metro
Bad Points: Signage is very small, Stairs is very narrow, Room was not clean.
I think you can find a better place with the rate as theirs.

Very old building

I had to haul my luggage up 4 narrow flights of stairs. I had an attic room - more than half the room didn't have full height ceiling. I could barely stand in the bathroom it was so small. It wasn't too far from Metro Station.

Location

So, despite the reviews I booked a stay of 2 nights here for me and my fiancée.
My thought process was "who cares about decor? The important things are location, price, cleanliness and a working shower"
The owner was very friendly and happy to speak English for me, although his adjoined resteraunt down stairs didn't have an English menu (just thought that'd be a good idea for some hungry guests)
The place wasn't very clean. Toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months and the sheets had dark patches. The shower is effected by every other room. So the water switches from hot to cold. Most of the time I felt like I was in a bad hotel booking ad or something.
The only reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of one is because the kind service and excellent location saved it. And I'm being generous.
