Just checked in - it’s great!
We booked this after looking for an affordably priced room for us to stay with our adult daughter. We arrived tonight and were greeted with great warmth, everything was ready for us, exactly as described and planned. We had to pay our tourist tax on arrival but this was all clear and made sense.
The location is ideal and good value - local cafes and bars all available within a minute’s walk.
So far - this has been great. We will update further - but so far, highly recommended. Staff couldn’t be more polite and helpful.

Well received but average services
Very good welcome but a bit expensive for the area, and quality points can be clearly and easily improved, particularly the cleaning. I found hair on my pillow the first night, and there were dirt marks on the bathroom walls.

RUN AWAY
We were victims of a traumatic incident involving the hotel staff.
We arrived as a family (2 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 7) around 11 p.m. to check in. The check-in went smoothly, and we went straight to our room to rest.
However, at 11:50 p.m., the room phone rang. It was the receptionist who had welcomed us, asking me to make my husband leave the room, claiming the reservation was for three people, not four. Very surprised by this request, I explained that we were already in bed, that it would have been better to bring this up when we arrived, and that we would, of course, pay any extra charges for the additional child the following morning.
To my great shock, five minutes later, this same employee knocked violently on our door. He was extremely aggressive, accused us of lying, and attempted to enter our room, pushing me aside—even though I am eight months pregnant. I tried again to explain that we were willing to resolve the issue in the morning, but he continued to shout in a hostile manner.
Our children, terrified, began screaming. Faced with this situation, we had no choice but to leave the hotel urgently, in our pajamas, in the middle of the night, with our children crying and completely panicked. We ended up on the streets of Paris at midnight, in a state of shock.
This behavior is unacceptable and inexcusable, especially as no situation justifies such a lack of professionalism, humanity, and safety for clients—let alone a pregnant woman and young children.
I contacted the hotel to request a refund, as well as an acknowledgment of responsibility and, at the very least, an apology. But I received no response.
Beyond this incident, the hotel itself (room conditions, reception, etc.) is nowhere near a 3-star standard. Do not trust the photos on their website.
