It was a good place to stay near the train station. small but convinent rooms, if you are traveling with luggage, this is not the closest to the train station. There are other options. I would stay here again if you want to explore other parts of the city not necessarily close to Trocadero or Iffel Tower.

Decent hotel for Paris

The hotel is really modern and artistic with funky designs everywhere, however the rooms were very very small and the pillows were basically flat with any pressure or weight on them. Besides that, location was pretty awesome with so many bars, restaurants and shops. It’s also right on the canal allowing scenic walks to different areas including Republique.
My favourite part was being checked in and out my Andrajit, he’s an absolute superstar and brought so much warmth and laughter to our stay. If you ever read this review and stay there, tell him Tina from London says hello!

I’d like to recommend the Ibis Paris Canal Saint-Martin. The location is great and the service is excellent. I especially want to thank Indrajit and Oana, who were incredibly kind and made our stay amazing. Thank you for everything, from Mexico

The A/C died for our first night in the hot summer. The property did not offer us anything for our trouble. Despite this, the luggage storage was helpful and I appreciated the selzter water on tap. The front desk man was very helpful. Do be aware that it is a couple blocks from the nice area by St Martin. The immediate surroundings are sketchy and filled with homeless encampments.
