Excellent discovery in the middle of a heatwave while looking for an air-conditioned hotel! Cozy as can be and a warm atmosphere!
During the heatwave, not having air conditioning at home, I decided to treat myself to a night in an air-conditioned hotel on the day the thermometer showed over 40 degrees, just to get a full night's sleep! I found this hotel by chance and it was within my budget. The hotel is located 100m from the Picpus metro line 6 in a fairly quiet neighborhood where there are a few shops. The check-in went very well and the receptionist was lovely! My request for a quiet room had been anticipated. Same for its location. I had noted that the establishment did not have an elevator and did not want to be on a high floor. I only had 10 steps to climb and on the courtyard side, it was absolute quiet. The room space is perfectly calculated, the bedding is recent, and the decor is very "cozy." The air conditioning worked wonderfully well! The shower is very pleasant and functional. In short, everything I had read before choosing this hotel proved to be up to the services provided during my stay. I did not have breakfast but it is possible to eat on-site, which is becoming rare, especially in Paris. Flawless! Accustomed to Parisian hotels, I obviously recommend this warm establishment! Have a wonderful season, to your entire team, and thanks again!

The room was clean and had aircon which was really helpful especially in the heatwave. Staff were super kind and helpful as well.

ABYSMAL
My stay (1 night) was unfortunately a combination of disappointments.
The hotel does not have an elevator. A room advertised as being on the ground floor finally turned out to be located on an intermediate landing, which is misleading to say the least.
In the room, the phone number to reach the front desk, tried several times, turned out to be inoperable, forcing me to go down to report the following problems...
Upon my arrival, the air conditioning was not working. After unsuccessful attempts to adjust it, I headed to the front desk: it required the receptionist to manipulate the control panel at the desk, followed by a visit to the room, before it worked.
In the bathroom, the defective shower head allowed for neither water pressure nor adjustment between hot and cold water. The problem, reported immediately, could only be resolved the next day... the day of my departure!
I will add, more anecdotally, the ridiculous presence of an armchair that was as imposing as it was useless, unsuited to the already restricted space.
I would, however, like to highlight the kindness of the receptionist, who cannot be held responsible for these malfunctions. Nor his colleague at my departure WITHOUT A SHOWER, who seemed to know nothing about these problems!
I note that my experience contrasts sharply with the majority of positive reviews. I claim not to be a particularly demanding customer, simply someone who expects a quality of service in line with the price charged. In this case, that was clearly not the case.
I therefore do not recommend this establishment.

Hidden gem
Located in a nice area of Paris. 1 minute walk from line 6 metro, 10 minutes from Nation. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the AC works great. Not so the WiFi. The staff in the hotel and brasserie are the stars of the show. All of them are polite, friendly, and helpful, offer great service and all speak good English . Great little place to stay, highly recommended

Staff were friendly, good location and clean simple rooms. Unfortunately had an issue on Sunday night with air conditioning not working, the young reception guy was very helpful and got the problem fixed eventually. Recommend !
