Paris area Opèra

Hotel in the center of Paris that lives up to our expectations. Small rooms (in Paris a constant), thorough cleaning, friendly and professional staff, small but functional bathroom, metro stop a stone's throw (unfortunately not used by us) and very rich area of premises. If I compared it to an Italian hotel it would obviously be equivalent to a three-star hotel, but even this, if it has traveled a minimum around Europe, you know... Ps great breakfast, I recommend it!

Gentile ospite,
Cordiali saluti,
Lucas CLARISSE

Very disappointing stay for a 4 star (Cité Bergère, Paris 9)

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel (charged €391 excluding taxes) and the experience is absolutely not up to the 4 star rating shown.
The negatives (many):
Accessibility: The elevator was broken. Coming back and forth to the 4th floor for breakfast and outings is very arduous.
Bathroom hygiene: Very small and especially dirty. Presence of black mold in the tile joints, yellowed shower tray, skirting boards that peel off. Most shocking: stains and hair from former tenants stuck to the ceiling.
Comfort: The room is really small. Toilet paper looks like sanding paper.
No soundproofing: There's a 1 cm day under the bedroom door. You can hear everything going on in the hallway and the light stays filtered all night, which wakes up. The wooden windows are simple glazing (fortunately the hotel is in a quiet courtyard).
Breakfast: Only thawed food prepared in a tiny kitchen. The room is so small that in the middle of a rush, you end up having lunch standing up.
The positives:
The staff is very nice and professional.
Free samples from the brand L'Occitane and bottled water made available every day.
Conclusion:
It's a shame that the hotel is in such a dilapidated state when the reception is of quality. For a quick night on the edge, but don't spend as much money staying here, 4-star standing is nowhere to be found.

Cher Monsieur,
Bien cordialement,
Lucas CLARISSE

Great birthday weekend stay

We stayed at Leonardo for 3 nights to celebrate my daughters 18th. We had 2 cosy double rooms. Very friendly staff and we were able to check in early. Rooms are small but have everything you need (especially air con) which was very much needed the weekend we visited. Breakfast was lovely and hotel close to all the hussle and bussle. We didn't check out until 2ish and they allowed us to keep one of the rooms on which we were really grateful of. We all slept well and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Leonardo :-)

Fantastic Location and excellent hospitality.

The absolute best part is the location—it's tucked away on a quieter street but still seconds away from the metro, making it so easy to get around the city. A special thank you to Alex at the reception desk! He was incredibly hospitable and went out of his way to be helpful throughout our stay. It’s excellent service like his that makes a boutique hotel feel so welcome. We will return next year.

Stay in Paris with family.

Staying in Paris with family, there are three of us. The room is really small and not very functional. The bathroom is really small; it flooded with every shower. They refill the water every day, but the coffee capsules are only provided on the day of arrival. The breakfast for a four-star hotel is very sad and lacking in variety, and the breakfast area is very small, just like the elevator. They compensate if they are not interested in what was said before; the optimal location and the very kind staff help you with everything, nothing to complain about.

Dear Roberto,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are glad that you appreciated our central location and the kindness of our staff, who are always happy to help families like yours.
However, we are sincerely sorry that the room and bathroom did not meet your expectations. We have noted your comments regarding the limited space, the water spreading during the shower, and the limited choice at the breakfast buffet. These points do not reflect the level of service we wish to offer, and we will take them into consideration for future improvements.
Regarding the coffee capsules, they are normally replenished daily. Please accept our apologies if this was not the case during your stay.
We hope to welcome you again to offer you a more comfortable experience.
Warm regards,
Lucas CLARISSE
