The area of the hotel where breakfast was supposed to be served was entirely empty all morning, so it appeared that no breakfast was available whatsoever. We would have liked to ask about breakfast when we woke up, but we were unable to, because--again--nobody was at the reception at that time (around 7:30-8).
The room itself was very clean, but it was small and lacked privacy. There was no separate bathroom. Instead, the shower opened directly onto the room; it had a glass door, and the interior was therefore wholly visible to, e.g., someone lying on the bed closest to it. The toilet was in a separate closet and had a door, but any of the goings on in either the toilet or shower were wholly audible to the entire room.
The location of the hotel was perfect, and, again, the room was clean. The employee at the reception was friendly when she was there. All in all, though, the information on the hotel website and posting here are misleading, and I would definitely not stay again.

Disappointed Experience

Would not reccomend
From start to finish, our stay was extremely disappointing.
At check-in, we were greeted by a man and an older woman at the front desk. The woman refused to speak to us directly, waved us away, and said that he would explain everything instead. As two young Asian women, we immediately felt that we were being treated differently.
We were told we had been "upgraded," but instead were moved to a very small room on the first floor with windows directly facing the lobby. Rather than feeling like an upgrade, it felt like a downgrade and left us feeling as though we were constantly being watched.
Even more concerning, we were not allowed to keep our room key. Every time we left the hotel, we had to leave it on the front desk and retrieve it upon returning. On multiple occasions, the front desk was completely unattended, leaving our room key sitting out in plain view near the entrance where anyone could have taken it. This is a serious security concern.
The most alarming incident occurred when we returned one afternoon to find our hotel room door completely wide open with no staff inside. Anyone walking through the hallway could have entered our room. When we reported this to the front desk, we were told it was "not a safety concern" because housekeeping would be cleaning the room soon. However, no one came to our room for another four to five hours, meaning our room would have remained open and unattended the entire time if we hadn't returned. There was no apology or acknowledgment of how serious this was.
The service throughout our stay was consistently rude. The male staff member was especially dismissive and unpleasant. The front desk woman also attempted to charge us for breakfast a second time, which we had to dispute before it was removed from our bill.
What disturbed us most was that both the male and female front desk staff made multiple demeaning comments about Chinese people during our stay. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel to Chinese travelers or anyone expecting respectful, professional treatment.
There were also several unusual policies and practices that made us uncomfortable. Guests are not allowed to eat in the hotel, you cannot keep your own room key, and housekeeping moved our personal belongings around the room, including zipping up our suitcases. I have stayed in countless hotels and have never experienced staff handling my personal belongings in this way.
The only bright spot of our stay was the wonderful night attendant, Pedro. He was genuinely kind, welcoming, and professional. The room itself was clean, and the hotel's location was convenient, but those positives were overshadowed by the poor treatment we received and the repeated safety concerns.
We stayed only five nights, yet there were so many negative experiences that I couldn't fit them all into one review. This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. If you're considering booking this hotel, I encourage you to read both the negative reviews and the management's responses before making your decision. Based on our experience, the responses reflect the same dismissive and unprofessional attitude we encountered throughout our stay.
