Great place

Great place in a picturesque village. Lovely staff and spacious clean rooms.
The view from our room was beautiful.
Free onsite car park was really handy.
The town is quite sleepy but has a restaurant a stone's throw away from the hotel which served delicious food.

Not what was expected

The photo and description makes one think the hotel is in a scenic location when in fact it is in the back streets of a village and although the outside looks old and dated it had been going through renovations. The bedroom was attractively designed with wooden flooring and a lovely modern bathroom. The receptionist was very friendly and called to one of the restaurants to see if they were open which unfortunately most are not on Sundays. A bit over priced for this hotel.

Not at all what we expected

The location is OK (one of the few hotels easily accessible by public transportation within the national park). The staff were nice when they were there (not too often).
The photos don't reflect at all the level of comfort of the rooms - ours was actually much less nice. There was almost nowhere to put our clothes, the 'wardrobe' consisted of a few open shelves. Same in the bathroom, no shelf and just one hanger. The reception desk was almost always empty, even during the hours when someone was supposed to be there. All in all we were disappointed by the hotel.

Nicely decorated room

We found this hotel by chance on the internet and would certainly recommend it. Reception only staffed for limited hours but easy to gain access using a code. We booked over the internet the day before and arrived at 5pm as the reception opened (there was a phone number to call if we had arrived earlier.) Very nice room, strikingly furnished. Wifi good. Shower and loo all looked recently installed. Staff very tolerant of my faltering French. If you need a reasonably priced hotel in Pelussin I would certainly recommend. Breakfast very nice buffet.

a nice stay

It is a nice small hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, the bathroom was also quite nice. We were given two adjoining rooms at the end of the corridor, but during the day the rooms were easily accessible through a side door. I loved breakfast, which was very complete. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The hotel offers free wifi, although the signal is not so good in some of the rooms.
The children enjoyed the surrounding garden. It had rained, and they spent hours searching for snails (huge snails!). The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the owner recommended a creperie just across the street, where we dined on very good crepes / "galettes".
In summary, a very nice stay. We stayed for just one night this time, but we might come back for a longer stay and to explore the surrounding area in the future.
