I recommend this address

While in Rochefort en Terre on Saturday, December 13, we had booked a room for one night at Auberge St Hernin. We were delighted, the hostess is super welcoming and attentive. Our room was normally on the 2nd floor and when the landlady saw that my wife was having a little trouble climbing the stairs, she placed us on the 1st floor. We slept well in a decent room and quiet away from any hustle and bustle.

Excellent time

The house is very nice
The couple is very kind
A great welcome, very warm and attentive to the customer
The room is very nice and pretty
The toilet is separated from the bathroom
The bedding is perfect
The restaurant is nicely furnished
Very good meal with fresh and local produce: Congratulations to the cook.

Wonderful Auberge, wonderful hosts

I can't fault this place, the welcome and service were impeccable, the room clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, their Tripe is award winning and deserves it, steak tender and perfectly cooked, Mussels sweet and plump. Excellent continental breakfast at a reasonable price. Loved every minute of our stay.

Great place to stay for family Christmas vacation

My French family and I had a lovely one night stay. Clean and cozy rooms with en suite bathroom, comfortable beds. Owner/mistress of the lodge fluent in English. Restaurant specialty is tripe which was tender and tasty, and has won several awards. Good place to stay while visiting nearby Rochefort, historic village.

Amazing stay

We loved this cozy house in the middle of the village. All was excellent, it was clean, nicely decorated, it had a great service, reasonable price, definitely a must go if you happen to visit mt st michel as it is not far away!
