Extremely disappointed with this ibis hotel
As regulars of this chain, we were quite disappointed to discover our room.
Supposedly a superior room for 3 people with a wheelchair-accessible bathroom.
My 19-year-old daughter had to sleep on a rollaway bed that resembled more of a bed on the floor, with a mattress that was the thickness of a comforter. The passage to access the toilet is a maximum of 40/45 cm. It is indicated that there is parquet flooring, but the floor is made of gray vinyl tiles. The walls are yellowed plaster.
Upon entering the room, we found ourselves directly in the corner of the TV. It is truly a shame for a room charged at 130 euros per night. Furthermore, it is indicated that there is parking, but of course, with a ridiculous number of spaces, we had to park at the city hall parking, further increasing the bill.

Perfect for visiting Poitiers

Absolute perfect location, on a quiet spot but walking distance to all local attractions such as cathedral, church of Notre-Dame, park Blossac, and all the shops/restaurants of downtown. Really good hotel with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Friendlt staff and breakfast is fantastic, with great choice of croissants, ham, cheese, bread, eggs, sausages, coffee, juice, yoghurts, etc. Perfect for Poitiers!

Old level formula one

Ibis has significantly downgraded: tiny room, Lilliputian shower room, which also includes the toilet, where you have to position yourself sideways because the wall is too close to allow you to sit straight..... no heating or air conditioning, the owner is saving energy, and bath towels with makeup stains that did not come out in a 40° wash!!! No more coffee maker, carafe like before, in short, the minimum.... it has become low-end....
