Nice hotel and restaurant right next door, very convenient

We stop there every year to go to the snow, it is always a pleasure. Every year there is something renovated, always an effort to improve the place.
The bedding is good and the breakfast nice. The owner is very friendly.

Deplorable if you come with family and expensive for what it is....

To flee , really expensive for what it is and pitiful welcome we came with family and the bad boss with the children, the boss is allowed to argue with my children as he returned to the room... Deplorable as welcome past your way.. boss who takes drugs or other product but really mean to our children

REMARKABLE HOTEL TO RECOMMEND WITHOUT HESITATION

I enjoyed the silence and darkness of the room thanks to the shutters and curtains. The bathroom was very clean. Comfortable bedding. The breakfast was good. The whole for a more than reasonable Award. The owners were charming. All I can do is advertise around me.

“Small Family Pension,
The Pension was recently renovated, it is very clean. The 2 owners, are very welcoming available and helpful.
It is close to a butcher and bakery, the nearby pizzeria is very good too.

Very friendly mom & pop hotel, but the value isn't there.

I'm traveling on the A64 on the way to Stuttgart from Lourdes; Pont-d'Ain is a little more than half way. I had no reservation and my GPS was taking me way far to find a hotel; passed this place on the corner and it had a restaurant. So I stopped. Room is 51.55 euro including a local tax, plus 6 euro for breakfast.
The room: I had the "suite", which is their largest room with a toilet room on the right of the bed and the sink/tub-shower on the left. Window looks on to the industrial side of another building. Lighting is poor: 2 small wall lights and 2 bedside reading lamps. Floors are hardwood. bed was comfortable enough. Antique wardrobe. Small antique table and chair that are used for a desk area. TV is small flat screen tenuously hung from the wall above the little table; French only channels. I had to unplug it to plug in my laptop. Heat is provided by a portable electric heater. WiFi signal strong and stable.
Toilet and bath areas are newly tiled. The shower head in the tub is hand-held, and the mount on the wall is fixed, meaning that the head will only position one way: spraying water 5 feet! Made a terrible mess.
Breakfast: baguette, croissant, raisin roll, individual packs of camembert, swiss and cream cheeses, assortment of jellies, nutella, butter, tea and coffee. That's it.
I just needed a place to lay my head for one night, so it was fine. But, since I just paid 57 euro in Monaco for a 3 star hotel, 67 in La Massina Andorra for a 4 star including breakfast, and 37 in Lourdes for a 2 star hotel, 51 euro and the limited breakfast here make it not a very good value.
