Amazing stay at Hotel Mariosa
The most amazing hotel in Corsica with gorgeous views, amenities, delicious food, and superb service. We received an upgrade to a suite with our own private pool and breathtaking views of the coastline. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!!!

Fantastic Hotel.
Really lovely hotel. Situated outside Porto Vecchio but close enough to go in easily. Also easy to get to the lovely beaches at Palombaggia.
I have stayed in many hotels but this one feels a bit special. Being owner occupied the attention to detail is superior. They obviously have high standards. Rooms are spotless and well serviced. Food is varied and of good quality and choice. Pool and Beach are kept beautifully.
Stayed in 3 hotels on this holiday. The other 2 were 5* but this was the best one!

Porto-Vecchio/Palombaggia Perfection
Hotel Mariosa is practically perfect; perched at a picturesque point between Porto-Vecchio & Palombaggia. But the 'P' that really makes it stand out is the people. From the moment we stepped through the door, the team at Mariosa (with a particular shout-out & especial thanks to Lisa & Thya) bent over backwards to ensure that our stay was fun-filled, smoothly functioning & utterly memorable. I cannot praise them highly enough, or thank them enough. Service in general is impeccable & attentive without becoming intrusive.
The hotel itself is peaceful, innovatively designed, & extremely clean & comfortable. Rooms are spacious & well appointed. The private beach is a hidden gem & the swimming pool allows a proper swim as well as a holiday splash about.
Menus are thoughtfully curated & accurately executed, with regular special events & promotions in the evenings. Whilst not exactly cheap, Mariosa also represents outstanding value.
We will most definitely return the next time we're in Corsica.

Disappointing Experience with Cancellation Handling
We were extremely disappointed with our experience with Hotel Mariosa. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our stay due to an unexpected family medical emergency that prevented our entire party from traveling. We notified the hotel directly several weeks in advance, specifically so they would have ample time to rebook the room.
In their email response, the hotel acknowledged our situation, expressed sympathy, and advised us to proceed with cancellation, stating that we would incur a cancellation fee. Based on this communication, we reasonably expected a partial charge.
However, after canceling, we were charged the full amount of our stay. This came as a complete surprise and felt very misleading. At no point was it clearly communicated that we would be responsible for 100% of the booking, even with significant advance notice and extenuating circumstances.
Given that the hotel had weeks to rebook the room, we find this policy—and its lack of transparency—unfair and not customer-focused. During an already difficult time for our family, this added unnecessary stress and financial burden.
We do not feel the hotel acted in good faith or in our best interest, and we would caution others to carefully review cancellation terms before booking.

In response, we informed you that we would apply Booking.com’s cancellation policy and that we would send you a cancellation invoice so that you could claim a refund from your credit card insurance, which we have done.
You imply that our cancellation policy is unclear, whereas the Booking.com website is very clear on this matter.
