Great restaurant

Restaurant with very good food
The quality of the products and there .I took the tartare in 2 sides it was exceptional. I am here for a week and I would definitely go back to try other dishes. I highly recommend this place

Ideal hotel for a family skiing holiday

Epicea lodge was the perfect hotel for our family stay. The rooms were really clean and fresh towels were supplied and the room cleaned every day. The breakfast was simple yet delicious and the staff were really kind and friendly. There is a pool table to keep the kids entertained between skiing and diner time and a cosy bar for an aperitif. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family skiing holiday.

Excellent stay and dinner

We had already been in Épicea Lodge in 2019, and we came back this winter to enjoy the cozy rooms, great views and friendly workers in this great resort. Additionally, this time we enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant un Épicea Lodge. The chef makes amazing dishes, it was absolutely delicious!
We will for sure repeat this experience again soon!

Stunning views, excellent food and very friendly team

The hotel has absolutely amazing views of the mountains from the bedrooms, with a lovely terrace outside with a park area and table tennis outside, and a pool table inside for children.
It is now being run by a very friendly and welcoming couple from Argentina (they speak English as well as French) who also have a chocolaterie - try the chocolate fondue on the menu! The food was really very high quality, the mushroom risotto was the best I have ever had, and the gambas and steak were really excellent, as were the beaufort & artichoke terrine and the tuna tataki for the starters.
Pralognan is a good location for walkers and mountain biking and there is also via ferrata and climbing. The village is charming with a river running through it and a nice little park for children by the main square. There's also ice skating, bowling and a cinema, so plenty to do!
Would definitely recommend!

Would stay again

Had a lovely experience at the hotel. Our room was lovely, and the view was stunning.
The staff were really nice. We arrived very late due to severe travel delays and they were kind enough to stay up and wait for us to arrive, which was really appreciated! They spoke very good English, so don't panic if you can't speak French
The breakfast was great and was already set up for us when we walked in (We didn't try the lunch or dinner)
Thinking of coming back later in the year
