Didn't even get a room

Place to avoid. Unacceptable service and customer support.
We arrived at the place and filled all the online forms needed to enter including a selfie and ID (problematic process). Once done, we got the codes for the main entrance and room from the host. The code for the room access was not working and we couldn't get in, no matter in which way we tried to enter it, and there was no one there to help. As of now all went fine I'd say, small mistakes can happen, but to our surprise we got no serious response from the host to solve our problem in 2hrs. No support at all. No chat response and no phone call response.
We then decided that we will leave the place since we found this unacceptable, not just we didn't get a room but we got no support for our problem.
2hrs later we received a phone call in order to help us, impossible to communicate in any other language than french and of course unable to solve the problem.
We said at the end, we wanted a refund for the absence of service and they refused, simply because they said that the code worked in the morning.
Pity of all this is that even with videos and photos as proofs, we as customers are helpless, full of frustration and with no refunds if an event like this happens. Still amazed that these things can happen.

Beware of scam

Reservation made with free cancellation and deferred payment. The hotel still charged more than was necessary per night. Following cancellation several days ago, still no refund. Additionally, the property requests a copy of ID via message to guarantee the reservation. Be careful this may be a scam.

Simple et impeccable

Dans le quartier le plus résidentiel de Rennes à proximité immédiate du parc Thabor,
ce petit établissement propose des chambres très bien équipées ( cuisine, vaisselle, cafetière, bouilloire), très claires dans une rue calme.
Tout est neuf et de bonne qualité (literie****)
Prix raisonnable
