A RELAXING STAY

A very pleasant and authentic place. Quiet, very relaxing and above all very comfortable. The welcome is exceptional and the breakfast is generous.
La ROSERAIE is near the valley of the monkeys.
La ROSERAIE is the ideal place for the family. A dream place for children

the dirty and poorly maintained swimming pool (green water) unfortunately did not allow us to take advantage of this equipment
However, this is one of the reasons why we chose this accommodation.
In the vanity unit, we noticed the presence of small black deposits the size of grains of rice which could resemble mouse droppings!
The room does not lock. Hair stuck to the honey pot. Small jam spoons left unwashed from one day to the next. And on the day of departure we find ourselves with the bill on the breakfast plate. The positive is the very friendly animals and the proximity to the Valley of the Monkeys.

As we explained to these guests before the revival the swimming pool pump had broken and was being repaired. In any case it was far too cold to swim and it rained incessantly.
The "mouse droppings" were actually pieces of pot pourri that had fallen out of the bowl! We are a chambre d'hotes not a hotel ; no-one else has ever had a problem with the lack of a room lock. All the jam spoons are washed and replaced every day. Of course you receive the bill on leaving!

A few memorable days

An incredible atmosphere and more than charming hosts.
The animals make the place even more magical, especially when they are all babies.
A very quiet place right next to the Valley of the Monkeys (I recommend) and close to Futuroscope.
No way to regret.

Another lovely stay!

Really can't fault la roseraie, john and Helen are marvellous hosts, very welcoming and hospitable. We had the blue room which was spacious and spotlessly clean. Overall, a delightful spot in the french countryside and lovely people!

Family holiday

We spent 2 very relaxing weeks here. John and Helen the hosts where very obliging and nothing was a problem. The children loved feeding the goats and chickens and the peacock was a huge hit. Only thing I would have loved would have been a dish washer. We stayed in the blue room and it was the nicest bathroom I have ever been in. Loads to do in the area including monkey world and Futuroscope Thank you for 2 weeks of peaceful bliss.
