Avoid at all costs!

Avoid at all costs! Hotel that is falling into ruin! It is dirty, the bathroom is tiny with a sliding door that opens by itself, the towels are way too small. What a disappointment!

Ideal for visiting the hospital or discovering the city.

Good quality hotel with very convenient private parking. Effective and professional staff. Located 5 minutes walk from the entrance of the University Hospital and 15 minutes walk from the beginning of the city center. Bus stop next to the property. Flat, little room for toilets located in the bathroom and sheet for door handles for cleaning or be quiet too poor quality to hold on.

The worst brit hotel I've ever seen.

The room not too bad but parking null..unless you have a very small vehicle and pay on reservation and anyway it is too small and always complete

Appalling 'management' and reception staff

I was attempting to book for dates in April when the Booking.com website defaulted to the current day at the moment of booking meaning I had booked a two night stay for that very night and the next night, not two months in the future. The policy of the hotel did not allow me to cancel the booking as it was less than 24 hours notice (the same day). I immediately called the hotel to explain the booking error. The reception staff could not have been less helpful or caring. The first girl I spoke to could not have cared less and had no shred of compassion of empathy. I explained it was an error, that I was calling within two minutes of the booking having been made. She did not allow me to swap the booking to April. She refused to refund me. I asked to speak to her manager, she spoke to someone out of ear shot and then hung up on me. I immediately called back and another woman answered. I asked "did you just tell your colleague to hang up on me?" to which she replied "yes". She refused to refund me anything. I asked her to cancel my booking for the second night, as this was more than 24 hours away. She said "yes, this will be possible". I requested that she e-mail me to confirm that the refund would be processed, which she agreed to. No email confirmation came. The whole amount for a two night stay was deducted from my balance. Booking.com customer service were next to useless and were unable to contact the hotel. Every message I have sent the hotel goes unanswered. Completely unprofessional customer service, I implore everyone to take their business elsewhere as based on my experience the management staff have absolutely zero professionalism and not a shred of humanity or empathy.
Reading other reviews of this place, many other guests have had similar experiences with the appalling 'management' team, citing uncaring and deeply unpleasant staff. Clearly the rot within this place goes deep. I fully anticipate their response to this review will be similarly vile and dismissive. Stay here with the expectation of absolutely no help if anything goes wrong.
