Really good!

Perfect Welcoming, always listening and available. As soon as you arrive, you feel like a ski holiday with wood paneling and a warm decoration (130 years of existence! ). Rooms with the look of old palaces with retro bathroom of the 70s. Comfort bedding, cleanliness at the appointment, multi-channel TV, coffee maker, teapot, fridge with a bottle of courtesy (one for a stay). Quiet. In stay stage it will only remain to wait to get off at the majestic and delicious restaurant, then enjoy a good night. A heated swimming pool is available in the other building of the hotel. Please extend the life of this property over time.

Planes House, a good establishment

Family home: Welcoming and care of guests, Beautiful cuisine with real homemade, traditional but who knows how to evolve. I recommend, really.

Well worth a visit

I only give my opinion on the restaurant because I did not go to the hotel.
Planes has always been an institution and it remains so. The staff, very professional, attentive, is very friendly with the customer. The dressage of the table is very classy, with white fabric tablecloth, the same goes for napkins. The setting is very beautiful, warm and puts you in confidence. If you are lucky you will be able to see Mr Planes Père in his entire class which age has not attenuated very much. Everything is good, dishes can be chosen with eyes closed, they are hearty -watch out for small eaters- and high quality products.
I would like to dwell on one of its institutional dishes, the duckling with casserole grapes: it is a dish that remains quite excellent, a duckling simmered in casserole for a long time, a part is served on the plate and the rest waits wisely in its casserole placed greedily on the table, the creamy sauce is used to layer this beautiful poultry. It’s a dish that the house has always served, I’ve been going for 30 years, it’s a dish that is still very good but that has lost over time this sublime side that made it approach the divine for a time, of course new customers will not see it and will find it sublime. If the house could heed my message, the great brotherhood of epicureans could only be infinitely grateful.

A hotel to remember.

A charming and well equipped hotel. The bedding is good. The rooms are spacious and pleasantly decorated. All the staff do their job well and with a strong sense of hospitality. The environment is quiet with, in addition to that of the hotel, a wide choice of restaurants within walking distance. No opinion on breakfast because I don’t have one. Parking available all around.

Very practical and welcoming

Very welcoming hotel. Correct services. Bathroom and a little cramped in this room.
Bell tower near the hotel . Well located and easy to access and parking. Average breakfast in value for money. Comfortable bedding. Cleanliness ok.
