Excellent welcome, lots of charm, attention paid to particularly pleasant customers, charming village and magnificent region. The rooms are very well appointed and allow for perfect rest.

Nothing missing, all perfect

We booked on line and were given the room with the balcony. Absolutely nothing was missing and everything is new: in the bathroom, the heater for the towels, a hair dryer, (finally) a proper rubbish bin, little soaps, shower gel, large mirrors on both sides and a small one with lighting for make-up, toothbrushes and good quality towels. In the bedroom, at last, a place who has understood that plugs and USB ports are important and especially on either side of the (huge) bed. Linen and pillows of excellent quality, tea/coffee and 2 candies, post-it and a pencil, large place enough to hang the clothes.
Very fast internet connection and big big +: Netflix.
What is great is that the owner also owns the restaurant opposite so you can have the breakfast cooked by the chef and of course lunch or dinner there and it is one of the best in the area.

Belle surprise

De passage à St Didier en VELAY pour 1 nuit. Excellent choix. Personnel et dirigeant très sympathique.
Le restaurant l’auberge du VELAY fût une agréable surprise aussi. Pour la chambre tout était parfait avec des détails qui font la différence. Nous reviendrons.

Séjour La bâtisse du Velay

Très bel hôtel et excellent restaurant. Accueil chaleureux, chambre et literie confortables.
Hôtel situé dans la vieille ville de Saint Didier en Velay. J'y retournerai avec beaucoup de plaisir. Si vous passé par là ne pas hésité à y séjourner.
