A superb castle run by great owners

Superb BnB, very quiet and timeless places.
Bright rooms, full of charm, decorated with great taste.
The owners are warm and helpful.
Perfect breakfast, to the rhythm of classical music and discussions.
Pool and tennis court, real pluses.

A super old chateau

We spent 2 lovely nights here. Madame Pascale was so friendly and helpful. It felt like we were staying with family.
The house is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated.
I had read previous reviews so I knew the owners had 2 lovely dogs.
Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed scrambled and fried eggs as well as tasty cheeses, hams and jam.
Madame Pascale booked a restaurant for us the evening we arrived and even offered to pick us up after the meal.
Madame Pascale also shared information about the local area and especially Lac du Der.
We were grateful for being able to practise our French.
I would highly recommend staying here.

Experience this style of living before it disappears

A charming small chateau in a convenient location for an overnight stay. Its not pristine and is looking a little faded, but that is a positive feature. Its not just another standard boring place to stay, it oozes character and the owners are simply wonderful. The welcomed us with genuine affection, and were very kind to our grandchildren who loved the pool. The beds were comffortable and the breakfast was excellent. The star of our stay was however Oslo, the family Golden Retriever!

Wonderful Place to Stay!

This is a simply wonderful escape. It is a beautiful old house with superb atmosphere and lovely classical decoration. The 3 upstairs old style rooms are huge with views over the river Marne. Tennis court and swimming pool and great. Big grounds in which to picnic. And… there is the best French supermarket walking distance for simply everything. The hostess is so kind, great breakfast included. And all 3.5 hours from Calais so great for stop on way down or way back if your are English. Highly recommended

Picture book French chateau with decor to match

We had a very comfortable overnight stop in this lovely guest house. It is an old country house, with appropriately creaky floorboards, and well decorated in a very French style - pinks, swirls and antique furniture, so right up our street! The room was cosy and clean with a lovely view over the garden. The breakfast was of ham and cheese with eggs done the way you like, croissants and various home made jams. We were made to feel very much at home.
