good experience

Warm welcome , bedding excellent spacious room , absolute calm , hearty breakfast and excellent. Everything necessary to have a good holiday.
A flat on the fridge in the bedroom that allows to leave elements for picnic in the cold but is a bit awkward at night

Disappointing !

Rave comments which encouraged us to choose this house, but big disappointment on arrival! Correct welcome but a lot of insistence beforehand to know the exact time of arrival in the afternoon, claiming shopping and cleaning. Nice house, very clean but soulless room, dirty games room and table football, 1 chair full of cobwebs, decent breakfast but very dark room. Feeling of real carelessness and a certain abandonment of the owners!!!!

Very warm welcome from hosts.

We only stayed one night, but Le Charhido made a big impression on us. The warmth of the welcome, a spotless bedroom and bathroom both well furnished. The size of the bedroom which included a sofa made it a comfortable place to sit and read, though there was also a lounge for guests. On arrival we were invited to join the hosts for a drink and chat. Breakfast was splendid, with their own eggs offered in many styles. We arrived at dusk, but in the morning we saw fields and vines and heard nothing. A very peaceful location. There was also an outdoor swimming pool for summer visitors.

Wonderful hosts Hilde and Guido made this a happy and comfortable stay.

The location is close to many lovely places to visit. Peaceful with nearby places of interest this is a great country location. Lots of useful information available from the hosts who are friendly and very well-organised. A great stay!!!

Wonderful Chambres d'hotes

After a disaster putting petrol in our diesel motor home, our breakdown company booked us a nights stay at Le Charhido. Well I can't praise this beautiful place high enough. Our room was spacious and modern with nice touches of vintage in keeping with the building. Spotlessly clean and well equipped, everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
The hosts Guido and Hilde went out of their way to help us and we really appreciated their help and hospitality.
The breakfast was just superb, and wish I could have done it justice.
We certainly would go back here for a longer stay and explore the area more.
