A comfortable stay in a quiet location, but with a small town on your doorstep

We spent a lovely couple of nights in La Burie. The room was very spacious and we particularly appreciated the shared kitchen where we could keep our picnic items in the fridge and make a cup of tea in the morning. La Burie is slightly out of town which suited us as it was quiet. Genevieve was lovely and very friendly. She speaks good English. We had a picnic in the garden one evening and she provided crockery and cutlery. We would definitely return.

A pleasant stop on our way down south

A lovely, peaceful location with a gracious hostess. Breakfasdt was fresh continental fare with homemade jams. It's a 15-20 minute walk into the small village of St Savinien. We happened to be passing through when a street music festival was on, which livened the place up considerably. Otherwise, I'd imagine it is a sleepy place. There not much in the way of restaurants - it's mainly pizza and pubs.

Beautiful old house redecorated in a contemporary way with mastery.
Charming contact hostess very nice.

Fantastic stay in La Burie

The house is beautiful and the garden a delight, full of small corners. Perfect breakfast and very friendly hostess and attentive to all details. There is a small walk to the village which is nice and quiet. Highly recommended to know the area.

Home to the castle

A castle experience in a homely atmosphere. Host Gènevieve deserves the best of scores as she made this lovely house to what it is today. Our stay was excellent in every way. This was our second visit in La Burie to visit friends living in Saint Savinien.
