Magnificent stay

Magnificent place with lots of charm. Beautiful, comfortable room with a view of the snow-capped Pyrenees. We will return with great pleasure. Thank you Carole for the attention you gave us, the good breakfast and the numerous explanations on the remarkable sites of your beautiful region.
We wish you much success. See you soon!

Lovely property, nicely decorated, beds rock hard and breakfast poor

It's all in the title! Le Peyret is a lovely property with a separate annexe for the B&B business. Bedrooms were simply furnished, nicely decorated. Bathrooms were average, our room had a bath with the shower fitment not even hung on the wall or a glass screen to be able to stand up and have a shower without water going everywhere. The beds are rock hard with poor quality pillows.
The breakfast was freshly prepared but we weren't even offered a croissant, just bread! I've stayed in other B&B's for less money with a much more generous breakfast.

Idyllic French country B & B

We stayed here April 2011 and loved it. Ten to 15 minute drive from large town (Pau), but still very much countryside. Turning down the lane lined with tall trees right up to the very French front gates, we could see we had found the perfect French B & B.
We stayed in the "white" room which had a cute little balcony and stunning views over the Pyrenees. Being in the corner room we also could see the dove cote and main house. Stunning room and very large en suite with large bath. Beautifully appointed. The owners live in the separate main house, so we never really talked to them except when we checked in; when we arrived at the main gate we couldn't figure out how to contact the owners and in the end one of the guests who was having a smoke let us in! Apart from this there were no other hiccups. If you are wanting a quiet stay with no intrusion from the owners than this is ideal. We ate breakfast with the other guests (who were French showing how popular it is with the Nationals) and we were attended to by (I assume) an employee - It was Saturday/Sunday so possibly she relieved the owners on weekends. We had little French so couldn't talk much with her or guests but it was a friendly atmosphere and we enjoyed a typical French continental petit dejeuner. Overall we rate this very highly and would stay there again, possibly longer next time!
