Nice place nice people

Beautiful location. Right on the river. Our room was small but ok for the two of us. Nice warm shower. A secure bike storage area. Breakfast was delicious. Eggs, cheese, ham great bread. We also had dinner at the restaurant. Very good. Trout was well prepared.

"Ideal Situation"

This has to be the worst hotel I have stayed in. The size of the bedroom was adequate but the toilet/shower area was tiny. The water from the shower ran cold after two minutes. What was intended for curtains on the windows "had seen better days"(polite)
Overall the food was adequate, but the place could do with an update.

The hotel and room looked very unkept - everything minimalistic e.g. no decoration or nice furniture. Walls a bit dirty.
Internet did not work and when I told receptionist or owner he just shrugged the shoulders and nothing happened. We only got Internet access the next morning shortly before checking out.
According to the booking side check in should have been possible from 3pm but nobody was there before 5pm and this is unacceptable.

Good for overnight stop

Located just on the bank of the river. Sitting on the terrass you might feel like being on the boat.
Our room on the first floor was quite small. Rooms are somehow tired and calling for restoration.
Dinner at the terrace was nice. At the time of our visit there was no daily menu, so we ordered a-la-cart. Food (fillet mignon) was good.

Unappealing exterior but reasonable rooms

This hotel is right on the river with fantastic views. The rooms are fine, clean and plenty of space. Fairly basic. The restaurant serves pretty good well-priced meals. The location is great. Friendly staff.
