A Belle Surprise
Very nice hotel in this beautiful little village along the Rhone. Parking right in front friendly welcome access to the room by lift spacious room Meuse with all comforts TV, wi-fi, beautiful terrace overlooking the Rhone and the village; Large comfortable bed small welcome coffee, TV to relax and bathroom with Italian shower. Restaurant and breakfast Perfect. A nice surprise on the road.I highly recommend.

Neither professional nor friendly
Disappointing and icy experience (literally and figuratively) at this hotel.
Arrived well after 4pm, no one at the reception. We see a vague sign saying to address the restaurant, so we transfer the luggage to the restaurant, which is also closed, nobody on the horizon. We return to the hotel entrance, but still nobody. It took 4 phone calls (!) to finally have a person who tells us that “the colleague will arrive”. (No 06 is indicated, so we come across the answering machine of a fixed if not most of the time)
15 minutes later, no one's still there, 5th phone call, they hang up on me, and then one person comes. Not a smile, not a word of apology, I am told that the reservation was not made by the Logis de France, I show it on my phone and I propose - to help - to take note of the reservation number, but I am asked to repackage.
“Check in” long and painful, unsympathetic receptionist and at least not kind. Reception not heated. It's freezing. No excuses in the end.
Arrived in the room, it is freezing too and the bathroom could easily be cleaner. (See pictures!)
Hospitality must also be the sense of welcome and especially the smile
It will not be difficult to do better, but we will certainly not check. Especially since management probably doesn’t care about these remarks.

Price increase within 17 days.
It would have all been fine if we hadn't received a written offer on May 25 for €127 per room per night, but then were charged €144. It's a shame; otherwise, it would have been a good hotel. But I do not like being made a fool of. The €14 for breakfast per person also does not match the price and performance. With the tourist tax, one pays over €175 for a double room with breakfast.

En effet, une proposition vous avait été envoyée le 25 mai, mais aucune réservation n’avait été confirmée de votre part. Lorsque vous êtes arrivés le 6 juin, les tarifs appliqués correspondaient au prix du jour, soit 147 € la nuit sur Booking, expedia,.... Comme dans tous les hôtels, les prix évoluent en fonction de la demande et de l’occupation. (ils vous suffit de regarder sur internet le prix payez est celui actuel)
Nous vous avons expliqué cela lors de votre arrivée, et vous nous aviez indiqué avoir compris que la différence provenait du fait que la réservation initiale n’avait pas été finalisée. Heureusement, nous avons pu vous attribuer la dernière chambre disponible ce jour‑là.
Concernant le petit‑déjeuner, son tarif est bien de 14 € par personne, ce qui correspond à notre grille officielle. La taxe de séjour est également appliquée selon les règles en vigueur.
Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que cette situation ait pu altérer votre perception de votre séjour, alors que vous sembliez satisfaits sur place. Notre équipe reste à votre disposition si vous souhaitez en discuter davantage.

Very pleasant experience
Cordial welcome.
Beautiful elegant room, with sober decoration, located on the Rhone side Very quiet, and with a balcony offering beautiful views of the river and the village of Seyssel, not devoid of charm.
Good bedding. Large and beautiful bathroom.
Breakfast very complete, served in good mood.

A nice stay right on the Rhône in a beautiful setting.
We got a great spacious room with balcony. There was a nice view over the Rhone river.
Finding a parking space along the road was easy. Reception at the hotel was very friendly and efficient. Good to know is that the reception is at the rear of the building. Dinner and breakfast were fine quality and service was friendly. We booked this hotel as a stopover between Strasbourg area and Ardèche region. The trip to Seyssel (south Jura) was on beautiful roads through beautiful areas. A relaxed but time-consuming road.
