Deception on prices
December 2024 reservation of a room 2 people at 89,00 € for the night from 13 to 14 June 2025. Arrival on June 13, you must pay in advance room n°122 to 89,00€, breakfasts to 2x8,50€ (error on the invoice mentioned buffet breakfast) and tourist taxes. Surprised, after following a corridor maze, we find room n°122 which has nothing like a 3-star room, rather 1 star (no mixers, simple taps, washbasin ice forbidden at most 1.65m, roll holder of toilet paper installed above the flush, in the back, control strap of the roller shutter of the 70s, etc...), besides in the room the posted rate is: 70 to 80€, which already indicates the luxury of the room. The receptionist tells us that they have long forgotten to change the signs in the rooms. Later in the entrance we find this poster: Double room rate from 1 May to 15 June: 85€ and from 15 June to 20 September 89€! Weird, it's June 13th, we leave on the 14th and we paid 89€! While I am explained if there is no deception on the price, if it is normal to set the head of the customer a room price of 70 to 80 €, (it would be better to indicate a price in off-season and off-season with precise and respected dates), if it is normal to charge 89 € a room displayed 70 € and which is not worth more. We’re on the verge of a scam.

vous vous êtes acharner pour 4 euros , nous sommes en pleine rénovation, et vous n 'avez eu aucunes reconnaissances auprès du personnel, que vous avez considérer comme vos esclaves
Vous devriez avoir honte de votre comportement , mes employées ne sont pas vos serviteurs et encore moins vos esclaves
vous vous êtes acharner pour 4 euros , nous sommes en pleine rénovation, et vous n 'avez eu aucunes reconnaissances auprès du personnel, que vous avez considérer comme vos esclaves

Hello,
I was hosted at the patio from May 9 to 16, 2025;
with a group: tour package.
We asked for a handicapped room with shower and without bathtub.
we got a room with shower on the 3rd floor.
except that the pseudo walk-in shower had no seat => so difficult to wash your feet properly; moreover this room was under the roof with exposed and low beams at the risk of bumping, and without TV because of the sloping ceiling.
on May 11, we were surprised that we no longer had hot water for the whole hotel; understand the inconvenience when cleaning.
This room is also equipped with some electrical outlets connected to the back and forth of the central light.This means that when you turn off the light, these outlets are no longer operational. I had to change the position of my bed to have a working bedside lamp.
Other than that, we eat well.
personally, this is not enough to be awarded 3 stars;
and your site shouldn't be advertising the same.

The hotel is a couple of moments from the middle of town, walking and the rooms at the back were certainly quiet. The room was clean and comfortable, but we wondered why a room that was set up for a 160cm bed only had a 140cm one and that it was so low to the floor. That said, we slept well apart from the Festival da Bandas Friday night, which was rather noisy and raucous! Internet worked well the first couple of days and then slowed down to snails pace.

Lovely short break for family wedding
I stayed here for a family wedding in a nearby château. Staff are warm and friendly I personally loved the hotel it is quirky and right in the centre of town with the
Tourist office opposite. I felt very welcome as a solo traveller. The bedroom was serviced every day. Breakfast as expected croissants pain au chocolat cereal some dried fruits jams juice and teas coffees Room had air con TV hairdryer plenty of space in wardrobe the bed lower than I’m used to but perfectly comfortable I thought for the height of summer this hotel presents excellent value for money to note they don’t open their restaurant but plenty of other choices in the town. Bar prices seemed same as elsewhere in town Thank you to the team I met( nice gentleman on reception and the lovely lady at breakfast. Hope to see you again Bedt Wishes Linda
