the place is just beautiful with the sublime garden, the historic buildings have a crazy charm.
very well received by Paula, the family room is very comfortable and the breakfasts very hearty and complete.

Very average!
Positive points: accommodation in a historic residence, location and environment, bedding, attentive and smiling welcome from Paula.
Points to reconsider: nonexistent storage in the room (except for a few wire hangers like at the dry cleaners), harsh lighting in the room, potentially dangerous shower wall (no markings on the glass > risk of hitting it), no possibility to place luggage.
The breakfast, for its part, is desperately classic and lacks homemade products. Worthy of a 2-star rating!
Remarks: the owners are pictured on the website but are invisible on the premises, Paula is very attentive to the guests but strangely absent from the site. Surprising.
Last but not least: a poor value for money (120 € per night)!

A wonderful discovery!
A very beautiful guest room at this place near the Abbey of Souvigny, which is "part of the walls," since it is adjacent to the Cluniac Abbey of Souvigny!
Rooms of very good taste, and the welcome and availability of Paula, the "hostess" par excellence, who does everything to ensure that everyone feels... good!
Not only is the site exceptional, but the location is as well, allowing everything to be seen on foot.
Top marks for breakfast as well, so... everything is good!

A place out of time
Reserved for a stage, what a nice surprise! It is a magical place perfectly renovated, relaxing and out of time. The village is also worth a visit (visit to the cloister) and alleys from another time with in addition a beautiful exhibition in the old church.

A perfect restoration of this historic place, in a superb park.
Attentive and smiling Welcoming in this historic place restored with great taste.
A magnificent view of the bedside of the priory, the rooms overlook a park with very old trees. Rooms furnished with some antique furniture, good size bathrooms, functional,, good Wifi. Nice breakfast. In addition to its priory and its large historic organ, the small town of Souvigny has many old houses and if you have an hour of free time do not miss visiting the museum located in the conventual buildings and the garden reconstituted with its beds of medicinal plants. The area has beautiful things to discover and is better than a quick stop on the road to the holiday. We will gladly return to it
