Appalling

An unfriendly welcome in a lobby that looks like that of a youth hostel. . I almost left, EVERYTHING is so ugly, the rooms, the amenities...

Location, brilliant, hotel has aged

The hotel has aged, and I had a room that was in urgent need of renovation. The toilet paper holder was loose, the shower head slipped down the pole, the mirror was damaged at the edges, the paint was peeling off the bathroom door, all the doors had dents, the carpet in front of the bed was dirty, the sink showed stains, and the used tissues as well as the tea and coffee were not replenished after service. The light bulb in the bedside lamp was broken. I then requested that towels, tea, and coffee be replenished when I went into town in the evening. And 4 hours later, nothing had happened. There are plenty of alternatives in Strasbourg for the price of €180.

It is no longer up to the Mercure standard at all!

Business trip, very disappointed, the hotel is no longer at the Mercure standard at all.
Despite a large room, everything needs to be redone inside, the bathroom has mold on the joints, the carpet is completely worn out, the only small plus is the good bedding, paint is peeling, in short, a very mediocre welcome with a receptionist who speaks to you in very approximate French, the only plus is the terrace for breakfast on the 7th floor and a good buffet. I will wait two years to return following the future renovations.
