Tres agreable étape

Delicieuse etape hors du temps. Chambres spacieuses et tres propres avec larges fenetres et vue sur 1 grand parc.
Malgré la proximité de la nationale les chambres placees de l autre côté sont trés silencieuses.
Rapport qualité prix tres intéressant!

Very average welcome see unsympathetic, rooms, decoration and furnishings of another time, very kind food and breakfast worthy of a holiday camp, in short no or little interest to stay for any reason in this establishment.

Super location and service

Stayed for one night on our way down to the south of France. Very friendly service, dinner was delightful on the shady terrace with a huge garden for the children to explore between courses. Rooms good size, beds comfy, everywhere very clean but bathrooms in need of an update!

Chalet !!!

Arrived to a grand old house in lovely grounds with horses in fields
Inside old furnishing in keeping with house
Cannot comment on rooms as we stayed in the wooden chalet at the side of property
Was very surprised , big comfortable and nice furnishings with a nice bathroom
2 large beds so ideal for a family and gardens outside for children and dogs to mooch however dogs on leads !!
You can walk around the grounds and look at the horses in the fields pony club attached to hotel
Breakfast was fine, bread crossounts jam yogurts tea coffee
Very quite peaceful hotel ideal for stopover however you are only 20 mins from the city of Oliron for the cathedral and the sights and the river worth a visit

Beau cadre mais...

Nous devions nous marier depuis juin 2020 (deux décalages de dates... suite au COVID), nous avons eu 2 augmentations du menus ... Non négligeable par personne (49.5€ montant initial puis 51.5€ pour payer avec les contraintes du COVID le menu 55.5€), idem pour le lendemain ... Avec une augmentation de +2€ par pers. Nous avons eu un changement quasi total du vin d'honneur au dessert alors que nous avions demandé confirmation du maintien possible des menus (nous avons racheté des menus ... car déjà imprimés ... et tout cela prévenu 2 mois avant la réception). Des prestations qui sont payées alors qu'elles ne sont pas honorées conformément à ce qui est inscrit dans le contrat. Des doggy bags des personnes absentes incomplets (absence des accompagnements, du fromage, de la moitié de la viande et une entrée non fournie) même si derrière nous avons discuté et nous repasserons au château récupérer cela... C'est contraignant et cela créé une insatisfaction. Le domaine il n'y a rien à dire, grands espaces verts et ombragés, la terrasse est top, excepté que ce n''était pas très propre au niveau du sol, et la tonnelle en elle même (taches visibles). Le service à table est très long. Bref on retient au final plus de choses négatives que positives pour une dépense d'environ 12 000€... Ce qui explique la note que nous avons mis.
