A beautiful property which is right on the lake. Unfortunately only stayed for 1 night.
My room(superior) number 21 on the 1st floor was a good size and the bathroom is completely new and convenient.
The bed was hard for me (my husband didn’t mind it)and pillows and linens not very luxurious. They gave us a beach bag with towels which we could take down to the lake.
The staff were very helpful and a shout out to Medí who greeted us and brought our bags up to the room. So friendly! Note: there is no lift.
Breakfast buffet was varied and we could eat outside enjoying the view. 25 euros for b’fast.

Wonderful place - very accommodating staff - stupendous lake!

We spent two nights here on our way to the mountains. The Abbaye itself is quite well renovated, yet retains its vintage charm. The original architecture has not been chopped up into tiny rooms, the floor and ceilings in the original structure remain intact. Comfortable lakefront terrace for casual snacks, a drink, a nap! ... I hope to book the Priore room on my next visit - apparently requiring some vetting as it is of historical significance. You can't go wrong staying at the Abbaye and enjoying "Europe's cleanest lake"!

what can I say: everything was excellent except the tariff! dinner and breakfast were top as well....

Weekend Review

Absolutely excellent. Staff, setting and service were first class.
The pontoon is a fabulous facility. We really enjoyed the Bistronomique and the view from the terrace at breakfast is hard to beat.

Lovely spot, lovely hotel

Talloires isa beautiful spot for relaxing and enjoying swimming or boating in the lake. The Abbe de Talloires is a very good hotel -- well located, good rooms, excellent breakfast and first class service. Highly recommended.
