Recent overnight stay

Lovely overnight stopover in historic Tours.
Close to bus/train station with hotel rate for public underground car park.
Booked premium double , underwhelmed with first room but receptionist was able to move us to a much better room.
Hotel only had a bar , no restaurant but plenty of restaurants nearby.
Hotel information was through a QR code , with information about things to do in the area.

Rude staff. Dated hotel.

No room until 4pm. When we went to the room we could not get close as there were 6-8 cages of dirty linens blocking the hallway and our door. Receptionist curt bordering on rude. Very dated hotel. Room poorly lit. Won’t come back.

Small dark outdated room

I booked a room for myself and my husband and we were given a room on the 5th floor which appeared to be a separate part of the hotel where other guests were staying as it was only reached via a stairway from the 4th floor.
It was very dark and small with the most garish wallpaper. It was like i had stepped back to the 1960s and no modernization had been done since then. As it was for a short stop over it was just about bearable but i would have been extremely disappointed if i had been offered that room for a longer duration . My guessing is that the hotel sells of the worst rooms on booking.com and believe me it wasn't cheap for the night!
The breakfast was not bad and catered for all tastes and set us up gor our inward journey.
Would i choose to stay here again? No probably not.

Lovely style and frontage of Hotel . Rooms were great and really large bed to stretch out on . All other facilities in room were fine and cool clean. A good size lift to get to other levels. Breakfast was good and had a variety of things on offer as a buffet. Coffee wasn’t the greatest either in the jug or the machine. Very clean and attentive servers. If you park I. The underground Car Park the hotel can give you money off. For those requiring overnight charging for your car there are facilities here too! Lots of places to choose to eat . Will be back to explore Tours in more detail - for us it was a brief stop on the trip home !

Good hotel

The rooms were spacious, the hotel is not exactly in the city center, but it's an easy walk. The employees were very nice and the breakfast was very good.
