Superb Hotel
We booked at the last minute, and despite this the whole team was very careful with us. Special thanks to Lara and Chloe for their warm welcome and kindness.
The room was clean, beautiful and very comfortable, with excellent bedding that allowed us to rest very well.
The breakfast was delicious, with quality products, and the service and staff are really top.
We thank the whole team for this great time and will be back with great pleasure!

We we had a reservation at Everest in Val d’Isère for a ski
We currently live in the United Arab Emirates, and over the past days the country has been subjected to missile and drone attacks linked to the escalating regional conflict. Authorities have issued security alerts and parts of UAE airspace have been temporarily closed, causing significant disruption to commercial flights and travel plans.
Given this situation, traveling abroad for leisure has become uncertain and potentially impossible.
Despite these exceptional circumstances, the hotel refused any form of refund, credit, or postponement of our stay, insisting strictly on the “non-refundable” policy.
While we understand that policies exist, we were disappointed by the complete lack of flexibility or goodwill shown in what is clearly a force majeure–type situation affecting an entire region, not a personal change of plans.
Hospitality should also mean understanding when guests face extraordinary circumstances beyond their control. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had with this establishment.
We hope the management reconsiders how it handles situations where guests are prevented from traveling due to international security crises.

Great hotel ticked all the boxes
The rooms, we had 3 rooms two on the first floor one the second floor, I stayed in room 208 this room was very spacious had lots of storage space including room for three ski bags that did not get in the way a nice touch was 3 separate drawers provided that fit under the third bed for extra storage. there was a coffee making station a safe and on request an iron and ironing board. The room did not come in the fridge, not a problem in the winter. Shower was good had good pressure and was always hot.
The bar area is shared with their restaurant so seating can become limited but this was not a problem we as 9 always got a seat and if it was over crowded there was another seating areas downstairs was always empty.
Boot room was good plenty of space for ski’s and boots. Is small so not more than 3 people can change in there but again never had a problem.
The other two rooms I can not comment on as I did not stay in them but having seen them one room was ok with a balcony and same foot print as mine but the other room belive it to be 109 (don’t hold me to that) this seemed to be below average compared to the other two rooms and although I did not stay in it if I had I would have been most upset and felt undervalued as a guest.
Breakfast in the mornings was Continental with the option of hard or soft boiled eggs. Food was ample and perfect to start the day with.

Thank you for your detailed review and for choosing to stay with us! It's wonderful to hear that the location of the Everest Hotel worked well for your group of nine friends, particularly in terms of its proximity to ski rental shops, ski lifts, and a nearby store.
Room on the second floor sounds like it was a great fit for you, offering plenty of space, storage, and handy features like a coffee-making station and a safe. We're glad that you found the room accommodating for your skiing gear as well.
We're pleased that your group was able to find seating in the bar area despite its shared use with the restaurant, and it's great that the extra seating area provided a fallback option. The boot room sounds like it served its purpose efficiently for your skiing needs.
It's unfortunate to hear that one of the other rooms felt below average for you. We value your feedback and will consider it to ensure every guest feels appreciated and valued.
We're happy the Continental breakfast met your expectations and provided a good start to your skiing adventures each morning.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we hope to welcome you back for another enjoyable stay.
Kind regards,

A very honest review
Additionally, there is no soundproofing whatsoever. Every sound from the adjoining and opposite rooms is clearly audible, making it difficult to get any rest.
The only positive aspects of this hotel are its location and the friendly staff. However, given the overall experience, it does not offer good value for money. I can’t help but feel that I’ve been assigned the worst room simply because I booked through Booking.com.
