SUPER STAY IN THE CENTER
Decided to return to Valloire that we love and change hotels (after staying in the same 6 times in winter + 3 times in summer) for this return, after going to another resort last winter, I choose the Hotel du Centre for this week "skiing" with my daughter.
This is a nice and pleasant surprise; this establishment is run by a family who knows their work as hoteliers and who therefore knows how to welcome their guests.
The welcome is warm; we were able to drop off our luggage before the official "chek-in", having arrived early on Saturday. We were able to change so we could go skiing and enjoy the empty slopes. On our return in the afternoon, we had our room on the 4th floor accessible by elevator, offering a beautiful space with a balcony overlooking the church, the village then the mountains and the snow front in the background: the view is beautiful and ideal to fully enjoy a stay in the mountains.
Regarding the restaurant: for the first dinner, we had a raclette; what better way to start the holidays and be "in the snow"? (not to say "in the bath"). We were also able to enjoy other must-have Savoyard specialties such as a very good fondue ("The best of Valloire" it seems), a tartiflette... Then for other meals, a simple, traditional, good and "home cooked" cuisine is served.
Breakfast is really great, well matched and packed; there is something for everyone, both sweet and savoury, and EVERYTHING to feel well nourished and ready to go skiing.
The dining room is very nice, large and well configured. The team is smiling, available, caring while being at the right distance and discreet.
The space between the reception and the restaurant is a plus, like a small lounge to meet or land before/after the meal.
Then there is the adjoining bar, "Pub way", very nice also to drink the aperitif (and / or digestive) where you can find holidaymakers, seasonal, locals also...
The Hotel du Centre is also ideally located in the centre (yours!) of Valloire with everything nearby...
Everything is done to spend a good week of vacation and feel a little "like home"; you feel a beautiful energy....
For the family owner (and very active) then for the whole team, the welcome, the service, the benevolence, the pleasure of receiving etc. are ...in the Center.... obviously!

Great nothing to say the very nice bosses and their children who resume the follow also very hearty meals and waitresses at the top always at our little care we will come back next year thank you
