Perfect choice to stay in Vars!
Pleasant and comfortable stay in New hotel. French atmosphere, vey good staff. Perfectly located for ski out and ski in (advanced level). Out room No 345 was very spacious and comfortable for travel
with two children, with a view of mountains. Cosy lounge area, perfect catering. Underground parking! Thank You! Aiste, Ignas & Julius

Far from a 4*
Nothing works as it should... staff, cleanliness, welcome, service...
1.5 hours of waiting upon arrival (5th in line...), room with dirty floor, very dirty shower... common areas not clean, nonchalant staff (young people who do not care about anything), organization very, very poorly run. We will not return, too disappointed...
PS, if management is reading this: we forgot our daughter's Lunii in room 310, but since the club is unreachable... please call me back!

The snow hides the truth.
The property is under construction, it is not complete, in fact several areas are still to be finished (see the stairs to the garage, or the entire outdoor area). The photograph of the exterior seen on the site where we purchased the package and on the hotel's website is retouched on the PC (I am attaching the photo which is simply false, as the entire exterior of the property is under construction as visible in photos from other users). The fact of spending the vacation in the middle of a construction site obviously entails inconveniences, for example having to cross uneven roads on foot (or with a stroller as in our case) or having to smell sewage all day (there are obvious problems with wastewater disposal).
All this would have been acceptable to us anyway if the services provided by the hotel had been minimally aligned with what was promised. It is a shame that the catering is inadequate, I will give some examples:
- No dish presented in the buffet is described, nor are its ingredients listed (I would like to understand how they can manage a celiac or intolerant person).
- The quality of the food offered is rather low and there is very little variety, especially in the drinks.
- There is no a la carte menu.
- There is no kind of attention to the needs of children (at dinner, a simple dish that a child under 3 years old can eat, such as plain pasta or rice, is never offered). Upon our request to have a small plate of plain pasta, the 'chef' refused, repeatedly. Despite our requests to the reception on the following evenings, nothing changed. The first evening we actually had to look, in the rain, for a place in town that could help us.
Furthermore, the staff is extremely inexperienced and in some cases not very courteous. Our room was never cleaned in 4 days; considering that the hotel defines itself as 4 stars, this is not normal. - The reception is often unattended, so much so that we had to leave the key at the time of departure without being able to check out because for over 1 hour we did not find anyone at the reception. - There are no spaces dedicated to children or any kind of attraction or game that can support them, therefore if you have children I suggest staying away.

Avoid it for now
What a huge disappointment! Hotel opened too quickly! The service is deplorable! It took us two hours to get our room because the one we were given was already occupied! The only comment from the front desk was "well, we are trying to find a solution," when in fact, having booked 4 months in advance, we have the right to have a room. Beyond the arrival glitches that can happen at a new establishment that is not yet fully operational, the casualness and tone used by the front desk staff is borderline tolerable. It is far from a 4-star hotel.
The photos showing a beautiful stretch of grass in front are fake; everything is still under construction. No terrace, no spa as advertised. The meals are good but not as varied as in other Sowell hotels! The rooms are only cleaned if you request it (it took 4 days for them to finally do it). Same for the toilet paper, you have to ask for it at the front desk and leave with it under your arm. I am not mentioning the construction next door. They cannot help it and it is often the case in resorts in the summer. Special mention for the bartender whose name I forgot, who understood that with a smile and a little humor, you can improve things.

Very disappointing - far from a 4* hotel
Exterior photo of the hotel does not match reality (AI-generated?). Located in the middle of a construction site. Noise, dust, and difficult access on a slope. No room cleaning during our one-week stay (no towel changes, no emptying of trash cans, no cleaning..). Obvious problems regarding the staff: insufficiency, incompetence, recruitment and training issues? .... Numerous stains on the floor (tar?). Average quality meals. We are very far from a 4* hotel. The so'inclusive package, the bar services, and the comfort of the lounge are the only positive aspects of the stay. Very good contact with the manager, who is competent but a bit overwhelmed by the numerous shortcomings and the lack of resources at her disposal.
