Very nice surprise

Very nice surprise offered by my husband for my birthday, idyllic setting, beautiful castle surrounded by nature. Aperitif and its cuteness served in a green park, then meal in a very nice restaurant room overlooking a small stream and a park with trees where lounging sheep, horses, peacocks . Exquisite menu where mix creativity, daring , refinement and freshness.The staff is attentive, pleasant, smiling , very professional.At the end of the meal, the chef comes to see customers to introduce himself and see if we liked it, of course we congratulated him because this meal will remain a pure happiness in terms of flavors as for this beautiful place. Congratulations to this beautiful brigade. Chantal and Laurent.

Nice surprise of a stay offered by our children for our fifty years of marriage

This castle is superb and perfectly restored and maintained.
The welcome is family friendly, attentive and very professional service, naturally kind without ostentation.
To highlight the legendary sophistication of the Mauritian staff that we are used to encounter often on cruise ships and major international hotels.
The Michelin-starred chef is very present at every table service, meals and breakfasts and is ingenious in taste finds. He gladly shows his amazing "laboratory" in modernity, size and hygienic.
The dining room, large modern vunda overlooks the park along a river and pastures or parade many animals. The furnishings and furnishings preserve the visual and sound tranquility of the guests, a cute little sheep inspired Lalanne keeps you personally company..
The rooms and bathrooms are large and perfectly equipped, the bedding very comfortable, the room service efficient.
This castle deserves its 5 stars at the bottom of this magnificent region which offers many choices of visits, including the nearby small fortified city of Avallon which deserves to be explored on foot

Beautiful and refined in its simplicity

This place is beautiful in its simplicity. A vast park very well maintained that highlights the castle. The staff is pleasant, considerate but not invasive. Beautiful quiet comfortable room with views of the park.
The restaurant overlooks the park, the view is superb.
A more than magnificent dinner at the gastronomic level. A creative kitchen with sometimes a touch of spice. Morels with a poultry stuffing a delight, the estate lamb is sublime. The sauces are amazing and mastered. Beautiful dessert.
The Château de Vault de Lugny is a coherent and refined ensemble, its park and castle, the rooms, the restaurant are in agreement and we feel very good, this justifies the price.

For the first time we were with friends in this restaurant. The place is beautiful.
The meal was sublime. No false Rating. A treat for the taste buds.
The service was impeccable.
We had a great evening.
