Perfect.

Very warm welcome, very professional staff and very attentive , quality food, room and refined decoration, I recommend brunch for all occasions, to offer, to offer if you want to have a good time

Don't pay in advance!

We paid everything in advance (200 €) but the day before arrival ‘the hotel’ reported that all kinds of extra financial data were needed because the payment would not have come through when everything had been charged. Email appeared to come from Lithuania and unfortunately so did the payment confirmation. Phone turned out not to be connected and a review mentioned that the hotel turned out to be abandoned. So we were conned was our conclusion.

Hotel to escape

The hotel is abandoned, the rooms fall into ruins, are dirty. No bath mats, the TV doesn't work. There are no more managers but one employee who tries to please everyone. We stayed 3 nights, the room was never made nor the towels changed, however the room price is very high. You must avoid it.

Sadness

A pathetic brunch and a nonsense for this place! This sets the tone for the restaurant! A more than mediocre quality and a performance realized with a lot of amateurism. Very poor value for money! A perfect reflection of the direction!
The pinnacle of amateurism and to have comments written by his entourage very close! Obviously the place remains exceptional but not enough to hide such a service.

Come for the great food, stay for the fabulous location and friendly staff.

The chateau is beautiful, the staff so friendly and the food sublime. Staying here was a complete joy, wished we could have stayed longer. Despite being only 7km out of Aurillac it seemed a world away from the hustle and bustle. The chateau is set in a beautiful valley and has stunning views. The food was the best we had eaten in 14 days of being in France - simple exquisite. All the staff we interacted with were excellent, so friendly and helpful. What a lovely place.
