Excellent hotel with a lot of charm.
Very good hotel well decorated in the historical style of the region. With a true personality very different from all the same chain hotels. Managed by a very nice young couple who are always attentive to providing service. Excellent value for money. Deserves an extra star but does not have an elevator.

Charming hotel
We booked this hotel in Visan thanks to a gift box, and we were not disappointed with our choice. It is a beautiful hotel, charming with very nice rooms and lovely spaces. Ours was spacious and airy, clean. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive to their guests. The breakfast is varied and of high quality. There is parking nearby for convenience. I recommend this hotel.

A very authentic lovingly designed hotel in Visan
A very nice little hotel in a medieval town. The historic house has been designed with great attention to detail and great care. No unnecessary decorations impair the very beautiful, clear line and design language of the house.
Rarely have you met such competent, warm and gracious hoteliers. The rooms are very appealing and quiet, just as the house says.
A very good, rich petit-dejeuner is offered.

This is a superb base to visit the area around Visan and Orange. We had 4 wonderful days in Hotel du Midi. Parking is not an issue and free on the street outside. We had breakfast twice served by Sarah who is one of the most warm, welcoming and accommodating hotel managers I have ever met. She went out of the way to help us the whole time we were there - from recommending vineyards, places to visit and even helping us book restaurants. Her and her partner are what sets this hotel apart from others. Despite our language barrier they made sure we were set for the day ahead.
The room was comfortable and more than I would have expected from a 2 star rated hotel - the reviews attracted me to this hotel and they weren't wrong. The village is so wonderful too - strolling the streets when the sun was setting and sitting on the hill near by the tower was very special. Book this hotel you will not be disappointed!
