Very disappointing

Beautiful outdoor setting. On the other hand the condition of my room was disappointing. Torn and stained curtains, leftover paint on a lamp, dirty bathroom joints. Unacceptable for a 4 star hotel: 136.50 euros per night. Luckily the restaurant was there. We eat well there. The new boss is fine. You can see that he is an experienced professional.

Run away! Run away, you fools.

Hotel Grand Montabo is only grand in name. From the entrance, the sight of the hotel shows us the dilapidation of the place, faded, deteriorated walls, the stairs, the hallways with smells of an abandoned castle. Room and bedding from the Middle Ages, filthy grout in the bathroom, shower tray leak, and a squeaky iron bed.
As for the breakfast and the brunch, spoiled juice, fruit on the verge of rotting. And the pool is in poor condition, it doesn't make you want to go in it. Flee, flee you fools. Very, very, but very disappointed with the value for money.

In my worst nightmares!

RUN AWAY!!!
If you like very strong smells of humidity, relative cleanliness, and common areas that look more like a ruin than a hotel, then you have come to the right place. A Formule 1 in an industrial zone is better than this "grand hotel" which really only has the name! Keep moving. Honestly.

Awful.

Old, poorly maintained, dirty, and neglected. Moisture stains, unmaintained equipment... Some staff members are on the verge of being rude. Sunday brunch is more than mediocre, with few choices, nonexistent presentation, and plastic dishes. No footbath, no shower, no changing room, the pool is small and poorly maintained as well. Not worth the trip! And boasts 4 stars!!! Doesn't even deserve a single one! Avoid it.

Disappointing

We went there for brunch, the service is not up to par, lack of buffet supplies, waiting, having to ask for a refill...! The height of absurdity!!!
Pool access from the suite, no towels, no umbrella.
A bit disappointed
