Top-notch

Very welcoming and friendly staff, the room was super clean, nothing to complain about, the place is very nice, a corner for the kids, not far from everything, I highly recommend Hime Lodge especially since we urgently needed a place to sleep with my children, thank you very much for your hospitality.

Vanessa is the best, great hospitality

Vanessa is a gracious and excellent hostess. She is helpful and runs an honest, clean establishment. For those who are looking for an option just outside of Papeete, this is one to consider.

Overrated

We chose a room with private bathroom. Pros, an effort has been made for blackout curtains and bed linen and bedside lamp, fine but comfortable mattress. For the rest, bedroom in the backyard, view of the laundry room and sheets that dries. No privacy if you don't close the curtains. No wardrobe. An aging shower room with exposed mold but a new shower head, no shower gel. Little sound insulation when people are in the kitchen late at night or early 4am... And at the top of the city, dogs and rooster in concert. It's already very hot in the room when it's winter, I can't even imagine in summer. Just a standing fan.
In short, for the same Award, we were the day before on the heights of Pirae in a BNB air with air conditioning, TV, swimming pool and sea view....

Friendly Staff, Clean & Well Kept, Felt Right at Home!

Well our flight was supposed to leave a little before 9pm and ended up getting cancelled at 1am. The gate agents eventually said at 4am that they ran out of hotel rooms. Hime Lodge opened up in the middle of the night to accommodate us. We were so extremely tired and exhausted from dealing with the airport staff who were clueless. The Hime Lodge team was so kind to us and quickly checked us in, accommodated a late check out, and even gave us an extra fan for our room. It felt like we were staying at a relatives house who really cared about making sure we were comfortable with everything we needed. We all slept GREAT and felt right at home. The next day, we walked to a few different restaurants which were delicious and super convenient. The lodge staff the next day also helped us secure a taxi back to the airport while we hung out in the common areas which were all very well kept. Thank you Hime Lodge for taking such great care of us!
