Haven of Peace

- very beautiful luxurious establishment in the heart of a coconut grove with its private beach and its magnificent view, giving a feeling of being at the end of the world
- very good welcome from the dynamic team and the managers
- excellent à la carte breakfast and dinner with fresh and quality products
- staff very attentive to the needs and caring for their clientele

Could be better

We were on half board at the hotel, nothing to complain about, exceptional welcome and air-conditioned room with balcony, prepared with care and small attentions. Quality bedding, beautiful bathroom.
But it is not the same for the half board. Decent buffet breakfast, nothing more. But significantly less satisfied with the meals. This is the only establishment (***) of our stay in Polynesia that offers either starter/main course or main course/dessert (no complete menu)
On the first evening, arriving at 7 PM (the restaurant was not full), the order was taken at 7:35 PM (after several requests) and served at 8:10 PM? Meal was acceptable but very frugal (resembles the portions served in a gourmet restaurant but without being one) for example, 6 gnocchis served with a small portion of fish under which are hidden 2 spoons of vegetables. When you have spent a busy day on an excursion, it is far from being great.
Moreover, we had indicated at the time of booking that I was gluten-free, and on the last morning, there was no gluten-free bread (just a mini croissant and a mini chocolate croissant)

Exceptional stay

A huge thank you to the Raitea Lodge team for the quality of the welcome.
Our stay with you was even more extraordinary than the first time, thanks to the upgrade you gave us. We very much appreciated this gesture.
Special mention to the chef (to whom I was able to show my sympathy in person), for the excellent cuisine served to us.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent experience

Very good stay, from the reception at the airport (Christian) very kind, through the reception at the hotel (Alison) with juice , fresh fruit and refreshing towels, to the reservation of activities, information and advice on activities, to the friendliness of the service with meals, care and cleanliness of the room, the swimming pool facing sunset available 24 hours a day, canoe available at the end of the pontoon. Only downside: cooking a little bland for my taste, but it is subjective.
