Warm welcome

Fantastic view of snow-capped mountains. Comfortable and clean ensuite room and excellent breakfast. I was there off-season, but the outdoor facilities look great for the warmer months. Best of all was the warm welcome from the manager, Umar. Nothing was too much trouble for him and it was wonderful to be greeting by his wide smile each morning!

Warm welcome with typical Caucasian hospitality

Caucasian hospitality is the keyword of this beautiful hotel Chateau Orberi. The manager Umar received us with a big smile and a warm welcome. He speaks English, Russian, Georgian on top of his mother tongue Chechen. We had a great time here and our room soon felt as a new home. Umar knows everything one might want to know about the direct environment, but also about the nearby Pankisi valley with its culturally rich inhabitants.

Perfect location and host who speaks English

Chateau Orberi/ Hotel Ikalto
We stayed here for three days. We were warmly received by Amar. The swimming pool with sun loungers and free towels bar with holland beer, perfect after a travel day to cool off. The location is perfect to see a lot in the Kakheti area. Everything in the hotel is clean and looks like new. Room is very spacious with a nice bathroom with fine shower. Breakfast buffet with local dishes tasted delicious every day. Also once dinner had tasty traditional dishes on Amar's recommendation. He knew how to make the right choices for us. Then in the beautiful wine cellar had a small wine tasting with cheese and bread and explanations from Amar. You can better book this hotel in this area than in the city. Staff are friendly and super helpful. They know how to make every Customer happy.

An oasis of peace and enjoyment

We stayed three days in this wonderful chateau near Telawi. The location is first class, you can reach many of the surrounding attractions by car. A beautiful garden with pool - invites you to relax after sightseeing. Very friendly welcome and support during your stay. The rooms modern furnished, quiet, clean and the beds with the best quality of sleep. Bathroom top equipped. Worth mentioning is the breakfast and dinner: excellent cuisine is offered. Last but not least, the wine from the in-house wine cellar should be tasted! 100% recommended.
