Avoid the restaurant at all costs!
It was the worst food we had in Georgia and the service was among the worst I have experienced anywhere over the world. It took us two hours to receive two salads and three skewers (they lost our order..found it..etc). The poor dishes arrived with ten minute gaps between them - one dish (with bad to mid quality) every ten minutes.
At the end of this fiasco, they did not even offer us acomplimentry coffe. A truly terrible restaurant.

Very inconsiderate staff - belongings got lost under their responsibility (and under carelessness). Barely even reachable.
We stayed for two nights and last-minute decided on hiking the to Shatili. We asked the hotel owner whether she knew of any service for sending excess baggage to Tbilisi. The hotel owner offered us to do it for us, free of charge! That was honestly amazing! An exceptional service. Of course, on many occassions we mentioned that we would happily pay for it. She insisted on doing it for free, and we were very, very thankful for that.
Unfortunately, this is where all problems started. Yep. That's awkward - someone offered you something really nice, out of good intentions; but at the same time, somehow you have to tell this person that things are going wrong. And if the person actually draws up as inconsiderate, the situation becomes very difficult.
Tamara, the owner of the hotel who offered us to transport our bags, did not show any signs of caring about our bags at all. She promised us, on different occassions, very literally, that she would personally hand over our bags in Tbilisi, on the 4th or 5th of August. On the 5th, we did not have any message. Only on 5:30pm, Tamara assured us that our bags would arrive the same day. We waited until 3:30am... still no bags. Only the next morning, without the smallest apology: "Ah, sorry. I can't bring your bags anymore". Tamara knew that we had a flight the same evening (!) on the 6th. Without even asking or offering alternatives, Tamara told us that she was sending our bags - with a lot of valuables - with public transport, unattended, to Tbilisi.
When the bags arrived, an item was missing. Tamara read my messages, but did not even respond. Eventually, we had to depart on our flight home. We only rarely got a very short and blunt response from her. I understand that everything was offered with good intentions, and I genuinely appreciate that. However, when you offer something like that, especially involving valuables of other people, you bare some responsibility. From all messages and actions on Tamara's behalf, I can only assume that she cared very minimal about our stuff. Not to speak about caring about our feelings or holiday, as our last two days - as someone could expect - where completely ruined by not hearing anything about our bags that should have already arrived for a long time.
I have tried to find a solution on a friendly and fair way. After a week if ignoring, Tamara answered that "she only wanted to do good and that it is not her fault". Actually, I believe that Tamara wanted to do good. However, when, unfortunately, all goes bad, you can't just forsaken other people, stop caring, and abandoning any responsibility. If you want to do good - at least inform us, be considerate, help us, if not (I would deem that appropriate and worthy) compensate a tiny bit of the loss (the loss was about 300$ US), especially considering that we paid more than 500$ US for two nights. Although I think Samzeo Hotel is legally liable for the loss (it was a service the hotel provided; and the item was lost while under their responsibility), I would never ask for the whole amount (or even close to it), as I understand that also for the hotel, and the owner Tamara, it is an unfortunate situation. Even though she handled the situation ridiculously bad.
I get the impression she is a person who would never admit any wrongdoings on her own behalf. She has literally told me that she "explained me many times how everything was" and even "that she apologized many times" while that is just untrue and thus makes any conversation or attempt to solve the situation pointless. I think that is not a place where you would like to stay, might something go wrong.
I feel bad having posted a negative review, but I see no other option. Take care dear fellow travelers! Georgia is an amazing country with amazing people :)
