Wonderful and soulful Irmeni
Visited this hotel last spring, only hands reached to write a review. Planned a trip to Georgia on their own, found this hotel for convenience and risked booking directly on the website of Irmeni. We've had four reservations confirmed without prepayment. Room rates are more than affordable. We were welcomed with Georgian hospitality. Moreover, the owner was present at the check-in and due to certain circumstances they had, offered to improve the category of part of the rooms booked without extra charge!
The hotel is located in the old part of the city, within walking distance of many attractions in Tbilisi.
The room rate includes a buffet breakfast: simple, varied and delicious food, excellent coffee, atmosphere with friendly service. They even offer guests chacha.
Rooms are clean, spacious, cozy! I had a room on the third floor overlooking a patio drowned in greenery and flowers! When planning the trip, they were looking for places in Tbilisi where you can see the glicinia in bloom, and it ended up right in the courtyard of the hotel!
And on the top floor of the hotel there is access to the terrace, where you can sit with a glass of Georgian wine and admire the stunning views of the city!
I recommend Irmeni unequivocally for travelers!

I would have given a perfect rating, except during my seven-night stay, the room was only cleaned once. They said there’d be two bottles of water left each day, but that happened twice. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel. The staff were friendly. I loved the decor with an old-world style influenced by both Asian and European styles. The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of fresh foods, meat, eggs, fruit and vegetables. They even offer shots of local chacha, which was a delight in the afternoon. I would gladly stay again.

The hotel was well priced and the room and other facilities spacious and clean. I enjoy walking and it was close enough to town to walk to all major attractions.
Staff were helpful and understood enough English to get by ok. I enjoyed the breakfast which was very traditional Georgian

Excellent choice
Very nice hotel with great staff! Our room was large and very well heated. Breakfast offers a large choice. A metro station is close by but it is at walking distance to Kote Afkhazi street leading to Freedom square

The only positive to the hotel was it did have free wifi.
We stayed here on a group trip. Almost all of the 15 of us had some problems here. I left my key in reception but all the cleaner did was change sheets and empty bins. Some days I was given two hand towels instead of a bath towel. There was hair in my plughole throughout my stay. The toilet leaked and I had to fix it. My door did not open properly from inside and after one of our group had to climb out of the window from his room I stopped locking mydoor incase I got stuck too. I was also disappointed in food. There is a lot of it but not always edible. Rubbery eggs, Iced cakes for breakfast, pickled salads and almost no fresh fruit,vegetables. Water for tea/coffee was always luke warm. For an evening meal eaten there one had very meagre portions when divided by six on our table. At another Khinkali was plentiful but as it came straight from the freezer was not edible. Wine served in plastic bottles. Breafkfast also started late and more than once I was chased out even though all I had done was grab a cup of coffee and sit down to drink it. The location I would also question. It was a very delapidated area. I did not feel safe walking around in the evening and needs a taxi to get into the city. The taxi drivers the hotel called ripped us off. Charging 5 times the price it should be. The hotel does have wifi that worked okay in our building and a/c did work although the TV did not.

You should have applied to administration for all problems. Did you think you were too independent in the hotel?! I mean toilet leaking, house-keeping -service, a door to be fixed and etc.
You might not have food appetite and taste otherwise you should have liked our breakfast and dinner.
Fresh fruit and vegetables are always available either for breakfast or dinner.
Our breakfast time ranges between 08:00-11:00 AM, and it is the international standard.
The area is not delepidated at all. It is the part of unique Old Tbilisi.
As for taxis, you should have been more attentive when paying. You deserve ripping off.
You might not have food appetite and taste otherwise you should have liked our breakfast and dinner.
