Abysmal service
The invoice was not sent by email as promised. No response to two follow-up emails. After a call to the Accor hotline, an incorrect invoice was issued. No one is reachable by phone. The Accor hotline also no longer wants to help. I am despairing.

Bad experience!
To start with the parking ... Apparently a pay car park, but that is not mentioned on the hotel's website. In the parking lot I didn’t really feel comfortable either, since there were several drug addicts present and I even saw one with a needle.
The room was very basic. And not exactly clean either, the fabric threads were very visible on the ceiling. We were there for 4 days and they were still there. On those 4 days, the mirror at the sink has not been cleaned either. Showering was not evident, because you could not hang the shower head in the suspension system.
On Sundays at 5 o'clock in the afternoon I even started asking when our room was finally up.
Breakfast was basic. On Sunday mornings there was apparently more room because there were more guests, which is not fair compared to the other days, since breakfast costs the same on every day. The scrambled eggs were made and then stood there for more than half an hour without being kept warm, so absolutely not tasty.
There are toilets at the reception, but they are locked. If you're going to say something about it, you'll get the answer "yes, you should use it in your room." Yeah, then why are there at the front desk? Not exactly customer-friendly.
Of most of the staff we also wondered if they came to work with a sense of purpose. And apparently the staff is allowed to eat in the morning and this just between the guests. So even if it's busy in the morning, you have to share a table with staff who are eating there.
My conclusion: they'll never see us here again.

No safe feeling
The stay was the first night just fine. The next evening we arrived in our corridor of the hotel room, there were 2 unkempt people and 1 dog sleeping (not something you expect when you book a hotel).
Then we tried to call the hotel, but no contact was possible. Nice and safe feeling in a hotel.

I understand this is a budget hotel, but the room was disgusting with old and damaged materials. The room had dirty floors that included long hairs and dust bunnies. The sheets also had long hairs. The vinyl flooring was peeling away from the walls and included gross gaps where dust and dirt collected.

IBIS BUDGET, AACHEN CITY
We were booked at this central city hotel by our coach company. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The room was spotless and breakfasts provided were more than adequate. Unfortunately the evening meals that were provided were very poor and unappetising, with only the one choice, unless you were vegetarian. Before we sat down the tour driver asked us not to overfill our plates and to leave some for the other guests!!! I suspect that this request came from the hotel as we had to ask for food to be replenished, as there was not enough. I have never had this experience before and have travelled all over the world. But perhaps the hotel does not usually cater for larger parties?
