Worth a visit...
I stayed one night in a Junior Rooftop Suite (305). Great features and appealing design. Really chic! Check in and check out fast and friendly. Staff overall attentive and helpful. Location of the hotel, let's say, special. Industrial area. But you know that when you book. The night was very quiet though. In so far as no disadvantage. Mattress was a little too hard for me. Wellness area small but fine. Two saunas, pool, gym and relaxation room. Showers take a long time to deliver hot water. Have also complained to other guests. This should be checked. Otherwise, no complaints. Dinner and breakfast were good. Value for money is right. Can only recommend Das Affalterbach!

Has potential but woefully slow service.
Hotel is new. Nice location opposite the AMG factory. Cool design. Modern and very clean. Room was a bit on the small side but I did enjoy the balcony and garden view. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and good quality products. Now. The bad. The bar and restaurant in the evening have woeful service. The bartender was covering the bar and restaurant. Ruined a good Tanqueray GnT by putting warm flat tonic in my glass. Then he would disappear for half an hour. I had to go ask reception for some service. Same slow service in the restaurant. One server. I waited 20 minutes for a drink and for my order to be taken. Food was of good quality but a tad expensive. This has the chance to be a great hotel but they have to sort the service in the evening.

This hotel should get six bubbles!
Amazing place. Out in the middle of nowhere - next door to the AMG plant and couple miles away to the Kärcher outlet. So whatever you need to pick up, this is the place! I am not going to talk about normal stuff, such as check-in, check-out and staff friendlyness and efficiency because that is where they constantly exceeded my expectations. The rooms are very very tastefully appointed and superbly stylish with a design that is unparalleled. Dinner: wow! Excellent cuisine and a wine list to dream of. The dinner itself is worth staying there. And then, there comes breakfast. Probably the best hotel breakfast in Europe. Superb quality of food and the choice is gigantic. And, in between all those lovely meals, make sure you stop by the swimming pool. An oasis of tranquility with a gym next door if you want to work out a bit. This place is heavenly. We will certainly return. Just for the hotel and its cuisine. No other purpose needed.

Great hospitality all around, with strong nod to the history of AMG, which is immediately next door. Convenient is an understatement if you are visiting the AMG or HWA facilities. Excited to return!

Nice hotel in the countryside but with a lot of potential up
The 3 stars have been awarded exclusively for the design of the rooms. Service and customer orientation was poor.
The restaurant kitchen closes at 9 p.m. There are no other dining options within walking distance. When asked at the reception what you could eat after 9pm, I was informed that I could order something at the bar, but that would have an extra charge of €20.
When I arrived and tried to log into the Wi-Fi, I received an error message on several devices. Later, I asked the reception why this might be, and got the answer that the wifi would not go for several hours. The idea to tell me this at check in did not occur.
At check in I was asked if I wanted daily cleaning or points. I decided to do daily cleaning. When I returned to the hotel the following evening, the bed was not made, the trash can not emptied, but the coffee cup was changed. So you can't say you forgot the room.
All this at rates of > €200/night, as a Platinum member and at a new hotel. It's a shame.
Ps: At check out I was told that the management would contact me about the shortcomings. After almost 2 months I still haven't heard anything..
