A surprise for Bad Bergzabern
We booked three nights here through Travelzoo and were really very satisfied. The hotel is renovated, the location is very quiet, and the staff is always polite and accommodating. We would gladly come back here.

First time guests, but not for the last time!
Our visit to this hotel was a direct hit.
The room was clean and modern. We had a deluxe room on the top floor with a very nice view. The house was quiet and the staff very friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was perfectly adequate and very well stocked.
The menu in the evening is a matter of taste to consider is, a dinner was included with our offer.
Price and performance fit very well and the feel-good factor is right.
We will be back and wish the management and the team continued fun at work and continued success, the concept is right.

Never again! Far too expensive for this service.
We had booked with 2 couples the New Year's Eve arrangement, our room was ok (except for a broken sink) but our friends were accommodated in the annex, which corresponded as far as the booking. This room with 12.3 degrees was more of a refrigerator, since the radiant heater did not help! A room that is rented must be preheated, that could not be done! Supposedly the heating was down just now...A move to the other outhouse made it bearable, but here charm of a youth hostel, rooms really ugly. Breakfast was ok, dinner not good. No labelling of the food, only 2 dishes to choose from, the salads good, but here again no explanation of what it is exactly. Even the New Year's Eve buffet could not convince us. When out check no excuse for the ice chamber or at least a "goodie" for on the way. The entrance area from the street is completely unkempt and also unclearly signposted. I raised all the points and with was supposed to have no idea about such a company. Well, then...

A very nice ambience hotel, and very friendly staff, with small...
We had booked the New Year's Eve arrangement for 2 nights. The kindness of the staff as well as hotelier couple is excellent, also the cleanliness of the two rooms we booked. The Flair Unique. Breakfast tip top, everything you like. Regrettably, on New Year's Eve, the decorations were not the same, but it still had the beautiful Christmas decorations. The starter on New Year's Eve was very good and interesting, but the main courses disappointed, but the dessert was good again. It was a buffet and all the courses were already there, which meant that some guests could not wait, since they probably did not want an appetizer, pushed in between, with the queuing people. The music consisted of a DJ, he did his thing well, but nevertheless I would have liked more involvement of the guests ( Polonaise zb) On January 1st there was the New Year's buffet; again a disappointment, even if the lasagne tasted very good, but unfortunately did not hit our gusto. They had told me the price on request what was calculated for both buffets per person, so it is understandable. We also understand that the staff (hopefully) should and must be better remunerated on such days, nevertheless we paid per person EU 400.- per night ( EU 800.- per room = EU 1600.- but had received the reduction for the buffets for a person who could not be there, but not for the double room, which was then occupied alone, also understandable) for the arrangement, we are not about the money, but nevertheless you expect a lot more. Unfortunately, we will no longer consider this hotel for future New Year's Eve.

All right.
Hotel ideally located with a beautiful park all around.
The rooms are spacious and clean, small downside for the shower.
The buffet meal is correct.
The staff is nice and efficient.
A 5-minute walk away you will find thermal baths.
We recommend this hotel.
