Around great stay with a deduction

I felt very comfortable at the Hotel Sonnenhügel. My single room as well as bathroom was modern and attention was paid to small things, such as a small laundry spider or even 2 pillows to choose from. The breakfast was versatile and high quality (including many organic products). The hotel's spa area was great and clean. The applications are also recommended, although higher priced.
Unfortunately my room was very noisy due to the location directly above the kitchen and my night was always over at 6am. It got very rugged and you could hear the water pipes. Also, the smell was blown into the room by the concerns exhaust pipes of bacon and fried. Hence a star deduction as it was annoying and I would have liked to open the window overnight. It was already very warm and stuffy in the room due to the temperatures outside (30 degrees+).
I would still recommend the hotel and book again, but express my wish of a quiet room.
The iodine brine spa is awesome! On foot it is 0.6 km and therefore great to reach.

All really well - but the highlight is the spa/sauna area

The decor of the rooms is "personal", the bed super comfortable, the bathroom equipped with all you need, the breakfast buffet rich and even with organic products - but my personal highlight was the sauna, a perfect spa area with 3 different saunas, outdoor area, of course showers and I was all alone! Perfect tranquility and pure relaxation included in the price! I can recommend this place from the bottom of my heart, because not only the complete facilities are good, but also all the staff are super nice and helpful at all times.

Eating like mother's home

Finding an Italian restaurant in Germany is no mean feat. In Bad Nauheim we found one. Taverna is a new restaurant, the very friendly son of the house told us, which also offers a new concept: Italian cuisine at a reasonable price without compromising too much on non-Italian tastes. No cream sauce-drenched pasta, for example. The relatively small menu offers more than enough to eat there twice on the same weekend as we do. Highly recommended and definitely worth a detour, especially for those on the road with hungry children. Because you eat there as you expect outside of the tourist attractions in Italy: just delicious, without bells and whistles.

Friendly welcome, sustainable and clean hotel

The staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive and relaxed. The breakfast is varied and offers many regional products. The rooms are very clean and sustainably designed. Thank you very much for the pleasant weekend!

Exceeded my expectations

A lovingly run house, you immediately feel welcome, the breakfast buffet is unbeatable, the rooms are excellent, the little things like sewing supplies, bathrobes etc. make the stay pleasant and very personal. The staff are helpful, competent and friendly, not fake, just nice.
I was here over New Year's Eve and it was actually a highlight. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay in your house.
