Lovely Hotel on the banks of the Rhein

The hotel is easy to find right on the banks of the Rhein. There is free car parking available. The owner doesn’t speak English but he is very welcoming and we managed to have a lovely conversation with lots of hand gestures and both sides understood each other. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, and very quiet, and ours had a lovely view of the river. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open the night we stayed but there are loads of restaurants within walking distance. We were served a lovely breakfast buffet.

For the category lace in all matters (except missing elevator)!

We had an apartment with direct Rhine view! Only a few years ago very thoughtfully renovated, it offered everything you need. Spacious, kitchen well equipped, beds unusually good, breakfast good, TV huge, very friendly and competent staff. Food very good (restaurant unfortunately only open on weekends in October), everything very clean. Stairs without elevator as well as four steps- stairs to kitchen and bathroom as the only downside. However, the staff brought up our luggage. Great starting point for our hikes and spa visits (Bad Breisig within walking distance, Bad Hönningen with ferry on opposite Rhine side). We were completely satisfied and will come back!

Good location right on the Rhine!

Was there in June 2025 for a motorcycle trip for 3 nights. We got our own garage for our machines on arrival! The house is located directly on the Rhine promenade!! My room was large and clean, it is a small hotel. Breakfast was simple but everything available. The restaurant was only open on weekends, but there are enough venues around. The location for our excursions along the Rhine and Moselle as well as into the Ahr Valley was optimal! Would go there again, even if it's a little easier!

Friendly staff

Just ate something there after a long hike on Saturdays. Nice staff and good food is served quickly. In addition, the restaurant is very nice and quiet on the banks of the Rhine. We would love to come back there again.

Lovely Hotel wonderful stay highly recommended

We stayed here for 2 nights in June while on a motorcycle tour when we arrived we were met with a warm welcome the bike was safely stored in a garage check in was easy. Our room was large beautifully decorated with high ceilings and a comfortable bed we slept with the window open and had a good nights sleep no noise very peaceful.
The hotel has its own restaurant at the front on the Rhine we ate there both nights as the food was so good no need to go anywhere else. Breakfast was free and was excellent with plenty of hot coffee. We
will definitely return and highly recommend the hotel and location.
