Feel-good place

We come to dinner more often and have never been disappointed. The location overlooking the chapel of the cross is top. The service was always very attentive. Especially recommended is the rump steak (one a quality and can not be topped) and the homemade yogurt sauce at the salad buffet - without mayonnaise !!!

2 star accommodation.

The hotel is noisy at night as it is on the main road. The toilet is very, very close to the shower wall. The guest house is quiet, apart from the mouse in the room. There is nothing to drink in the rooms and breakfast is only served from 9 a.m. Not recommended. Everything is very old and dates from the 60s.

Don't stay there.

Weird staff, small and uncomfortable rooms. Also expensive. You can hear all possible noises through the walls. As much as I do love the area, I wouldn't come back there. Haven't eaten breakfast there so I don't know the quality of food.

Beautifull surroundings, horrible rooms

Visiting this area is most certainly worthwhile, the landscape is breathtaking in every season.
This hotel however has forgotten to do any maintenance or modernization in the last 40-50 years, which in itself could result in a charming retro hotel. However, in this case the result was a sad mix of dilapidated mess that would be refused in a thrift store, mold on the walls and floor of the bathroom, a dirty air and a bed that felt like sandpaper. Needless to say that I cancelled the remainder of my stay after one night (disturbed by the noisy highway) and booked myself into a decent hotel. However vengeful a person I may be, I would not even book my worst enemy in this hotel. Be warned!!

Wonderful food, but terrible room.

A very peculiar mixture this. A wonderful location overlooking the town and surrounding countryside - very good service and excellent food - the breakfast was about the best we had all holiday. The room, however, was dark and very dusty and the bed extremely uncomfortable with very poor quality linen; it had not been updated since the late sixties by the look of it. Disappointing.
