Very relaxing and comfortable
On first arriving here I was greeted by a lovey young man norman who was very helped and gave me brohures on all the local attractions near by and a reduced rate on the local spa only 5 mins walk away, well worth a visit on hot days! The rooms are very spacious and clean but there is not pots or pans to cook with in the kitchenette so bring some if you fancy cooking! There is no bar or restaurant in this place only a breakfast room but there is plenty of restaurants in the town or 10mins car drive to chiemsee were there is a fab promenade and walk area and lake.overall if you want a convenient location to get around easily and a nice walks this is your place.

Peace and quiet
We love Munich, but don’t like the noise and crowds for too long, so wanted to stay somewhere quiet….and we couldn’t have picked a better place. It was very rural and with a lovely view from our apartment.
Although our apartment was slightly ‘tired’, it was huge, very clean and had everything we needed. Yes, it looked like it was coming up to its next refurbishment, but any shabbiness was more than made up for by the absolutely wonderful staff. The only slight downside was the people in the apartment upstairs from us were quite noisy and this put us off sitting on our balcony as much as we’d have liked.
We found a brilliant Italian restaurant right in the town, so we didn’t bother going into Munich as much as we’d planned. And we can’t leave this review without mentioning the amazing people we met, including the lady and her husband who gave us a lift from the station when we arrived. What lovely people in Bad Endorf, we’ll definitely be back.

I wish there were more than 5 stars.
This was the ultimate place to stay. I do not believe I have ever stayed in anywhere that could possibly compete with this beautiful place. First, our story. We arrived a little later than expected, and when we finally got to the hotel and went inside to check in, our key and a note was waiting on us. How absolutely charming! I love trust in an hotel. Next, my husband went downstairs after a while and there was someone downstairs who gave him a recommendation to THE best restaurant with localized German food. (It's another review of mine in the same area.) We went and omg the best. Anyway. The showers were hot and the pressure was great. The rooms are insulated so I never heard our neighbors. We took our dachshund with us and she was welcomed into the dining area (until she misbehaved, at which point we took her upstairs where she whined. After hearing her whine, the owner came to us to check that she was ok. How is that for service?)
There are also bicycles for rent and the Apparthotel is within walking distance of the main train station, an hour ride to Munich, and a short car ride to Herrenchiemsee.
The mini bar is stocked and reasonable, too. In case you're interested. Plus, there was a kitchenette in our room, which means it must be available in most rooms, so that's definitely an attraction for those saving money.
Seriously, I so wish I could offer this place ten stars. It was such a lovely, affordable operation, and everyone was so nice, that I would be willing to move to Germany because of this experience.

in die Jahre gekommen
in die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft - Dusche mit Plastikvorhang - Bilder mit denen geworben wird stammen von Zimmer die renoviert wurden. Frühstück wurde so spät angeboten das es als Geschäftsreisender ausscheidet.

Schönes Hotel mit Entwicklungspotential
Pro:
- ruhige Lage direkt neben der Simsseeklinik, kurzer Fußweg in das Ortszentrum und Wanderwege direkt vor der Tür
- äußerst nettes Personal, das mit Rat und Humor zur Verfügung steht
- Parkplätze vorhanden
- großes Frühstücksbuffet (Brot/Brötchen, verschiedene Aufstriche und Aufschnitt, Müsli, frisches Obst...)
- großes Zimmer mit Küchenzeile, Sitzecke und schönem Balkon, bequeme Kissen und Matratzen
- gutes WLan
Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten:
- man hat gesehen, dass das Zimmer relativ neu gestrichen war. Leider war der Rest nicht renoviert worden. Der Teppich war sehr fleckig, das Sofa schon extrem abgenutzt und speckig. Das Bad war leider nicht sehr sauber. Hierfür war der Preis fast schon zu hoch.
- Das Frühstücksbuffet ist eigentlich gut. Allerdings hätte ich mir eine Beschriftung der Speisen gewünscht. Es gab beispielsweise Salate, Müsli, Aufstriche in Glasschüsseln. Keiner hat davon genommen, da man nicht wusste was es eigentlich war. Ich bin leider Allergiker und sehr auf Inhaltsangaben angewiesen. Statt der Beschriftung könnte man auch Joghurt in Bechern anbieten, mit verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen und Fettstufen. Dann muss man den Joghurt der übrig bleibt auch nicht wegschütten.
