Surprisingly good and central but still quiet

The hotel is well-maintained and family-friendly. I was impressed by the active staff.

Not recommended!

We demonstrably booked a double room with balcony and received a dark corner room with a small window. We complained friendly and asked for the room booked accordingly. After the young receptionist announced several times that there is no longer a room with balcony, we were offered two single rooms with balcony. We refused them and asked for cancellation of the booking and refund of the money. After half an hour we found a double room with balcony for us. Upon entering the room we already fell the musty air and in the bathroom smelled unpleasant of toilet. When we entered the small balcony for ventilation, we found that broken glass was lying on the floor. Since this room had a connecting door, it was no problem to hear the conversations and human sounds of our roommate. This we told the reception. After a night spent awake on covered mattresses and loud snoring from our roommate, we were in the breakfast room at 9:00 a.m. All but four tables were occupied and already used dishes piled up in the free seats. We waited 5 minutes and then freed a table ourselves from dirty dishes. The choice at the buffet was frightening. I asked several times for a small spoon for my coffee, after 20 minutes I gave up. Of course, we have complained to a person in charge of the hotel about the cleanliness and order in the breakfast room friendly. This was dismissed with a smile and we did not feel taken seriously, no remedy was offered. The facilities of the hotel do not correspond to the information on the booking page, it is missing the restaurant, bar, fitness center, kettle...No thanks - absolutely not recommended!

Active week in Bad Füssing

Very well-kept hotel, unfortunately the pillows are not that good, I have mine with me. Incredibly good food and a very good wellness area. I spent an active week here and was completely satisfied with the service. The Johannestermen are highly recommended. I would recommend the hotel.

Cheap basic hotel with great staff

Stayed for just one night while running the Bad Füssing Marathon. Hotel room is basic, but warm and comfortable. Reception staff were excellent help when I needed directions, recommendations and a taxi ordered.
